Thank You Big Apple Film Festival for hosting the NYC Premiere of our Feature Film TOP HATE last night at LOOK Dine In Cinemas on 57th Street. We had a great crowd in attendance. This director (Michael Thomas Cain) was proud to be back together again with a very talented cast and crew. Here I am with Jasmine Dorothy Haefner who plays Carmen Miranda-Wright and Joe Queenan, our Screenwriter and Executive Producer.

These include his former dance partner Ginseng Roget (Kellyrose Marry), archrival Keane Shelley (Mark Ashin), stalking comedienne Katherine Heartburn (Emma Denson) and simpering British butler Simcox (Ed Altman). While dodging multiple murder attempts, Astoria first seeks advice from his close friends Carmen Miranda-Wright (Jasmine Dorothy Haefner) and Oscar Le Vile (Mark Parsia), then consults with private investigator Tyree Fingerlake (Xander Jackson), before finally visiting Janey Stompanelli (Sean Young), the mob’s top enforcer in the . Presented in black and white and set during the Golden Age of , TOP HATE is written and produced by Joe Queenan (columnist at THE WALL STREET JOURNAL and author of 12 books) and directed by Michael Thomas Cain ( and of “Eliminated” and “Not Approved For Cancer Treatment”). As said in a previous post, Forgotten Artist Productions is taking the next few months to highlight work that we've completed over the last few years in order to mark our 10 Year Anniversary in 2024. Again, we've stayed so busy moving from project to project, and we thought it would be nice to revisit and sit with some of this work as so much time and energy has gone into creating it. We've had such a pleasure collaborating with so many great and talented people.

Here, we're highlighting the short film Thumb Wrestler written by Mark Levitt. Mark is a comedy writer, and he contacted us right after we got finished filming Eliminated. We filmed Eliminated in June of 2016. On July 4, 2016, we talked to Mark about making his Thumb Wrestler script into a movie, and by August/September of 2016, we were filming Thumb Wrestler. This was the beginning of 5 short films that we've made for Mark, and we've had so much fun working on these projects. We hope to work with Mark again in the future.

We'll be posting the entire movie in the near future, but for now, here's a trailer of the movie.

Sonya realizes that there is no marriage in her future and that she will live out her days as a spinster on her
father’s estate. Here, she commiserates with Uncle Vanya, who shares a similar fate.

SONYA: But what can we do, Uncle? We’re alive. (A pause.) We’ll live, through a long chain of days, endless
nights. We’ll bear patiently whatever happens; we’ll work for others, until we die, with no rest, and when
our hour has come we’ll go without a murmur. But in the next world, Uncle, we’ll say that we suffered, that
we were miserable, and God will have pity on us. Then, dear Uncle, a new life will start – radiant, beautiful;
