TED CRUZ JUST OPENED THE DOOR TO ANOTHER 2028 RUN! 👀🇺🇸
Sen. Ted Cruz is acknowledging that his White House ambitions are still alive, adding another major name to the growing speculation around the 2028 Republican presidential race.
During Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick’s podcast, Cruz said it was no secret that he wanted to become president. When asked if he would run again, his response was simple: “Time will tell.”
Cruz previously ran for the GOP nomination in 2016, winning the Iowa caucuses before ultimately finishing behind Donald Trump.
He is also pushing back against the idea that JD Vance should automatically become the Republican Party’s next nominee. Cruz argues Republicans should have a serious debate about the party’s identity, economic priorities, government spending, and America’s role in the world before choosing their next standard-bearer.
With Vance already viewed as an early 2028 favorite, a potential Cruz-Vance primary could set up a major battle over the future direction of the Republican Party. 🔥
Would a Cruz vs. Vance primary make the GOP stronger by forcing a real debate about its future? 👀👇
