Something To Be Said
There is something to be said to what police officers could be. As proud as this image makes them. After all. No matter how tough you are, you can still sleep easier because they are there. Admit it or not. But when the law enforcers are the law breakers. And the blue wall does not allow any transgressors of the law they are sworn to uphold to be held accountable. If they wear blue. When without a law being broken the blue walls authority can go unchecked. And any challenge, by the people they are charged to protect can be arrested. Abused. Beaten. And even killed. In daylight on camera. Then after that, then the police make charges for crimes that has not occurred. Leaving lives in shambles, sometimes seriously so. Sometimes dead. Sometimes on camera. In broad daylight. In a system that is designed to prevent addressing such atrocities. Leaves generations bitterly aggrieved and angry. Look back for generations some have spoken, shouted and burned in this trauma. And still there are some who wants nothing more than to keep their knees on our necks. Even now. Hearing our pleas “I can’t breathe”
There is something to be said about officers who want for this to be just as proud as they really are. And to them I say. Change have arrived. If this is your pride in this picture. Then help us work towards change. Because the system that supports the strength of your blue wall is about to face the grievances of generations. And the blue wall is apart of our problem. And we will fix the problem or eliminate it. And if you are not apart of the solution you can go away with the your blue wall. Because we demand to breathe free. Not again. But for the first time in America.
