For anybody wondering what happened in Newark ... RA did an article and interviewed Bones and myself 🙏also you can read the statement made by the organizers and see the video someone took of the incident ...

Video seen by RA shows an officer shoving Bones off the decks and against a wall at the March 31st rave—the DJ has since confirmed he's alright.

Current owner of the RiotSound DJ and vinyl shop, Alex Shtaerman (aka Destro 187) came of age while traversing NYC’s infamous underground party scene through the 1990’s. Alex honed a variety of skills along the way, including DJing, writing, design and pretty much any other trade that could be applied within the context of New York’s burgeoning rave scene.

DJing and putting together underground events under the RiotSound banner starting in the early 2000’s, Alex was also active in documenting the scene in NYC, interviewing artists for the RiotSound website and photographing the happenings at a plethora of events. In 2005 Alex founded the RiotSound DJ shop, which he continues to own and operate.

As Techno has experienced a resurgence over the last several years, Alex is now back in the studio, recording music for upcoming releases as well as participating in events more frequently. In 2019 Alex co-founded Eternal Flame Records, the label’s inaugural release is due out at year’s end.
