A New York native and School of Visual Arts alum, Mark advanced from early work in movie poster design to designing for a variety of clients and industries as a now-longtime art director, graphic designer and illus
trator. Pernice spent part of 2008 working under world renowned graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister and Paula Scher in 2010 working on Jon Stewart’s “Ear th The Book.”
Some recognitions 2012-11 NY Times most notable Op-Ed illustrations, two 2011 FPO Awards, Make Magazine 10 Best of 2010, HOW Magazine Outstanding Achievement award, 2009 AIGA PDA award and a Print Magazine Regional Design Annual award. In 2010 Pernice’s ”Photo Booth Mask” project has gained viral attention with over 1.5 million image hits in the projects first 3 months garnering press in Wired, The Huffington Post, Fast Company, Gizmodo, DesignBoom, Booooooom, Glamcult, Buzzfeed and It’s Nice That to name a few. Contributing writing, judging and lecturing credits include: Print Magazine, The Strange Attractor, MICA workshop, CSCA, CSCA Creative Best. Zhang Qingyun
Born and raised in Chengdu, China, Zhang is a graphic designer and photographer currently living and working in New York. He graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from Fashion Institute of Technology, and spent one semester abroad at Camberwell College of Arts in London. Having worked with Mother New York and Refinery29, Zhang has the competence in executing projects for both corporations and cultural institutions. His work has been included in several exhibitions in New York and London, most recently Metamorphosis by ReVison Arts.
