No Vote... No Freedom by Gregory St. James Mundy If Black people’s freedom is not to be decided by the halls of Congress, then it must be decided on the streets of America. Just like what we had to do in the 1960s, it is time now for Black people to rise up again and take it to the streets! We are not going back to Slavery! God said to Nat Turner after he had been whipped half to death... "A person can only be a slave if he allows himself to be one. After that Nat Turner rose up and started killing his slave masters. If Black people allow the white racists in Congress to take away their voting rights, they have only themselves to blame. Black people must march, protest, boycott, or whatever, to stop their rights from being taken, by using any means necessary. Just like back in the 1960s when Martin Luther King and Stokely Carmichael fought for the same things that we are fighting for today. I say to all Black people, if you have no vote, you have no voice. If you have no voice, you have no rights. If you have no rights, you have no freedom. When you have no freedom, you are not a citizen of America, but only a slave in America. I say to all Black people you must always remember. Freedom is not something that is given, but something that must always be fought for, so it is not taken! Gregory St. James Mundy If Democrats are really serious about the Voting Rights Act, they should have it tied to all bills that comes before Congress (Debt limit, BBB, Gov’t pay, etc.). Arizona and WV voted to modify the filibuster to raise taxes for the debt limit. Yet, they say it would be wrong to do it for Black people's right to vote. If that isn't RACISM, what is? NATIONWIDE BOYCOTT ON ARIZONA and WV!
