Looking back- The year 2024 when our little Goluma’s first formal education began at school from kindergarten in the USA. She had zero english knowledge, diffident, afraid of new unfamiliar surroundings, could not talk and understand anything of the new school or friends then.. We can never understand completely how our daughter felt that day and next few months. I still remember that while I was talking with her class teacher about her how she would survive, thrive and learn, Joya’s mom( another class mate’s mom) stepped forward and asked me “ Are you Agnisha’s mom?” Then she said, Joya kept talking about Agnisha all these days and she even added that Joya and other class friends thought Agnisha being so kind and nice, the class friends all decided to teach Agnisha English as “she speaks french only”( kids thought!)! I loved to hear that despite our little daughter was facing so hard obstacles of language barrier and fear of unknown was there , she was able to show her kindness to them! I can’t believe how fast she is growing, adapting and adjusting in a new country so so well and much fluent in english now and becoming more and more confident. Long way to go girl. We are so proud of you.

She Was Golu’s First Bestie In America, A friend From Kindergarten Of Her First School. It Was Her Birthday. She Can’t Miss It. And Golu Had Do Much Fun!

Goluma and us had a wonderful time with these little angels of Kolkata on 22nd July, 2026. Our daughter always wants to do something for the people who needs some help. We gave her some money for the time she helped me or dad for small things she does at home eg helping dad in gardening, helping mom in organizing her room etc. Golu is learning how to earn money that way. We bought a small piggy bank for her where she can save her earnings and can spend as she wishes. However, on our pleasant surprise, she saved few hundred dollars and gave me to buy something for needy in Kolkata. So, I requested my friend Suchandra in Kolkata who is a senior official in Emmanuel Ministries, the renowned NGO doing enormous jobs for underprivileged sectors in Kolkata over decades. I was also involved here decades ago. Without help of my dearest Suchandra, this opportunity for us would not be possible. We discover many children with huge potentials need some help to flourish in life. Our future plan of Durga project for girl children in name of our daughter Agnisha Durga may start from here. We pray to God to bless our daughter so that she can get the opportunity to stand for the children who need help.
