To burn, or not to burn
New wood burner here. I inherited this wood with the property we recently bought. I do not know how old the wood is but would guess that is quite old. I have been told to not burn it, that it is unusable. We have a wood burning stove insert. I can not find anything on the interwebs about old wood being unusable / unburnable. It is dry and does not look obviously rotted. Why is it bad to burn old wood if has been kept dry? I understand that it will not have great heating value compared to properly seasoned wood, but its there and it is free.

What should I do with all this firewood ?
I live in San Diego I work in tree services so when we take down trees I bring it back to the yard and chop it up. All this firewood is seasoned I sell some every weekend from apps such as Craigslist marketplace and OfferUp I sell a good amount of it but I still have a lot left I’m wondering how I can sell it all or maybe someone who buys in bulk and resells or grocery stores I just need ideas on how to get rid of it.

My wood guy delivers this and helps stack for a hundred bucks. Good deal?
