You never know when som**hing will touch your soul and heal your heart. It happened to me this weekend at, of all places, an electronic music festival. Here’s my reflection on EDC 2025, and what I think could get us through these scary times.

I’m still crying after returning from my first electronic music festival, EDC in Las Vegas. The people I met and music I danced to until dawn (literally) hav...

Take that, Steve Kornacki!😎
Seriously, I’m thrilled that The Onion is being honored for its brilliant revival of ONN. Thank you for letting me bring my news chops to this farcical yet painfully honest satire.(BTW, Steve’s lovely. Nothing personal!)

The Trump administration plans to ask Congress to rescind $1.1 billion in federal funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which provides some funding for public media in the United States.

“The 64 pounds of m**h stuffed into the seats and spare tire of a pickup truck caught the attention of border agents in El Paso, Texas, who seized the drugs last month. But it was the trays of eggs that really alarmed them.” Wall Street Journal? Or The Onion?

The contraband is yet another sign of how far consumers will go to battle soaring egg prices.

I named my satirical anchorman for The Onion Dwight Richmond. He's named after two Black anchors I admired: towering journalists who were everything my character naively thinks he is. Today one of those legends died, leaving an amazing legacy.

Legendary KTVU anchor Dennis Richmond, the quintessential newsman of four decades – an anchor still most associated with Channel 2 long after his retirement, died Wednesday at the age of 81.

Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!

This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!

I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!
