With respect of what’s going on in Guyana concerning the election, it’s a total waste of time. People should not even think of what’s happening, except that you have time to waste, or want to be a politician. And a corrupted one soon or late. Guyana’s Government has never done anything for its common people and never will. Guyanese has been sanctioned by their own Government since the British left, so talking about sanctions is only fear mongering. People just have to continue do what they are doing, and hope that some day everybody either migrated, or dies so a new population can start without this depth of corruption. Same Guyanese go to different countries and become successful, but in Guyana, they are nothing. Why ? Is there a reason? Is this something a government should be interested in ? Every election, people having new hopes, only to realize that all the politicians left in Guyana are boss tricksters. Both major parties are ruling Guyana at the same time TOGETHER ALL THE TIME. Politicians of both sides have an above average salary, not including perks, bribes, honor, respect, demands, connections, benefits for family and friends etc. What does the common people have ?? Nothing!!! For a common person to have an accomplishment, one has to attain certain establishments that includes connections and bribery. Starting with the police to all the way whatever. This is the normal system. If you are a Guyanese and you doubt this, you are either lying or are in it, so you defend it. Now that being said, which government ever attempt to change that condition when in power. Sugar estate closure becomes a political issue. The fact is, it’s costing taxpayers (not politicians). Is Guyana so barren that there is nothing else possible that’s profitable ?? What’s the use of a government if it cannot figure an alternative, given a country with so many resources. Every single Guyanese has potential but they don’t have an avenue. How come these politicians becomes so super successful in such short time ?? Let’s look at reality with no political bias, just common sense. The amount of money spent on DIPCON for roads, and the rehabilitation of Skeldon sugar factory by previous administration ( just two projects), who benefited ?? Sure it’s not the common people. They are only paying the price. All those huge sum of money went to Trinidad’s and China’s investors. They are the real beneficiaries along with some of our honest politicians. How about present administration ??? Is there a similar pattern? Contracts are given to foreign investors, paid for in US dollars. Makes cost as if Guyana is USA. If a government wants to give a contract to a foreign company, isn’t it their responsibility to ratio the cost by a foreign exchange agreement, based on your money power? If you fail to do that, then you are paying a black market price. And look at those sum, even the USA wouldn’t pay that kind of price. What’s going on?? Is Guyana so rich that it can afford anything in a black market US dollar price, or is the spender spending other people’s money and have no sympathy. Or maybe stupid. Or is there something else ? What’s it ?? Am I missing something??? And both parties doing same. What if as a government, we buy all the equipments needed, take all the sugar workers, all the unemployed and do all those infrastructure ourselves. Something like what America did after the war during the Great Depression. This help them in so many ways. It created employment for its people, stable their economy, makes their nation proud and a whole load of other benefits. And guess what ! If we do it properly, it will cost less than half as much, and twice better. Also money remains in Guyana. Is Guyana and Guyanese not capable of this ? Are the Americans, Chinese, Trinidadians and other foreigners more skillful and better people, what is it, What?? Or is it the people in government, the politicians doesn’t want to undertake such tasks. Probably it’s better for them to be a middle man, spending other people’s money, and having a commission, rather than being a government, working in the interest of the people and the progress of a country. This is what’s bothering me. Both political parties, when in power, don’t do a tiny fraction of what they were supposed to do as a government, but they benefited themselves and associates in multitude. Then they have the nerve to boast of what little they did, as a favor for the people who they are pandering to, as if they had done a sacred deed. The mess in Guyana’s present situation, is only getting worse. If you are to analyze the current political climate, it’s driven by jealousy, hate, spite, corruption, revenge, and all at a personal level. The anger, the frustration and the mistrust generated by the politicians is causing a huge racial divide among the young people. What are you doing Mr politicians? Are you guys willing to create frictions daily? Why don’t you guys just step back and quit. Do something better for yourselves, like chill out or die, so you don’t have to continue sinning your souls. Anyway the game is on, the players are dirty, situation’s ha tense. Let’s not get carried away, it’s a game among the privileged. I think Timoty Jonas is the only guy with some integrity, and if you happen to read this, respect.
Is guyana court of appeal live at 1100 am today
Is CA , jones v gecom on Saturday 25 July 2020 at 10 am live
Is CA today at 3 pm ,jones v gecom live
There is a form of shared government. There are local Government councils and Regional Administrations.
Charles if Tim and Floyd were the Chair give us your action plan and timeline beginning tomorrow. Include administrative issues like the usual time of day to convene meetings and length of workday.
What's up guys
Guyana have so many scholars and yet they can't get it right ????? With just a couple hundredth of thousand of people..... what if you had about 2 billion? You would have taken 2 billion years to count...them right fuh say green economy caz all them head green like DUNKS......WHEN THEM GO SENSE ...IN THE NEXT BIRTH????? 🧠👎
The problem,we were faced is because the army, police, public service and Gecom are predominantly one race. Guyana has six races and therefore we need to balance these forces and implemented laws to ensure everybody has representation .
