Four incredible shows capped off by performing for and chatting with the legendary !🤩

This was my second time performing at the amazing , and I’ll always cherish making music alongside one of my favorite friends and musicians, !😁 And this cast of singers and band members were truly next level. Every artist on that stage was brilliant, captivating, and so down to earth.

I sincerely hope this ensemble gets to perform together again soon. It’s a dream to work with such a supportive, like-minded team. Thank you all for this unforgettable experience, and best of luck on your next theatrical adventures!

The cherry on top? Having in the audience and sharing a chat after the show. I look forward to continuing that conversation someday soon☺️

Thanks to everyone who made this memory possible! Until our next show🥂🫶🏾

ALSO, thank you all so much for coming to my outdoor “Sunset Concert” on Sunday! I loved performing for you and hearing you sing along❣️

Sweating in 90-degree weather, chin rest soaked, sweat in my eyes, and every movement taking so much energy—yet somehow captured me looking like none of it was affecting me! Thank you so much for your amazing photography.

Still can’t believe how special that evening was. Harlem, thank you for showing up and showing out! More music, more sunsets, more memories.

Last week’s “Jazz at Pride” felt like a true family reunion, and I couldn’t have been more excited to make music with these incredible musicians at : Dizzy’s Club❣️

I will always be in awe of the queen , not only does she make me feel loved, seen, and valued every time we connect, but her voice stops time. She’s one of the greatest singers I’ve ever heard.

I wish my voice resonated with the grace, depth, and brilliance of , a true powerhouse whose voice commands the room with every note, as if I’m wrapped in history and spirit all at once (see you later at Dizzy’s😆). When I think about singing, I wish with all my heart I could sound just like the incomparable ! And , witnessing your incredible growth from 2023 to now is simply astonishing and so cool to see you bring the house down! You are truly amazing, bro!

, thank you for your friendship, your phenomenal music, and for including me in your amazing orchestra again this year. Everyone played so beautifully, and it felt like a breath of fresh air to make music with you all again.

And look it’s THE ❣️😁 (📸 by 🙏🏾)

After an unforgettable run with ’s “Jazz at Pride” last week, I’m honored to return to ’s Dizzy’s Club tomorrow as a special guest artist in ’s “Juneteenth Jubilee: Roads & Pathways”✊🏾

I first met the powerhouse during our performances in “Jazz at Pride,” and now—just one week later—we’re sharing the stage again for a powerful celebration of Black music, history, and liberation.

Presented in three acts—from remembrance to transformation to joy—this program blends spirituals, gospel, spoken word, and Afro-futurist sounds. It’s a celebration of freedom and resilience through music that uplifts and unites.

Swipe to see my alternative poster design for the show — followed by the official regal artwork featuring .

🎟️ Tickets: https://jazz.org/dizzys

Shows at 7 PM & 9 PM.

This will be my 10th performance at , and I hope to see you at our celebration🫶🏾

Every day I’m Hustlin’🤓😅🎻
The beginning of June felt like a marathon!🏃🏾‍♂️🎻

I had the privilege of performing in two incredibly fun and challenging concerts during the first week: serving as Assistant Principal Second Violin with for their 2025 EarShot Readings at .nyc, and Assistant Concertmaster for ’s “Opera in the Park” at the Jackie Robinson Bandshell.

[June 5 — 10:30 AM: EarShot Reading #1 · June 5 — 6:00 PM: Opera in the Park · June 6 — 7:30 PM: EarShot Reading #2]

As an alum of .nyc’s Precollege Division (5 years — woot woot!), walking back into that building always feels like coming home — and diving into all that new music was mentally stimulating! As for the Jackie Robinson Bandshell? Performing there has been a dream of mine for years, especially with such iconic operatic repertoire.

Thank you so much to and for having me and for filling this summer with free, soul-nourishing music!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Debuting my solo violin improvisations on Argentinian Tango and Blues — all on the same album!😆🎻

It was an absolute honor and creative joy to spread my wings and showcase the full range of my artistic versatility on violin for Liz Cracchiolo’s () new jazz album! Huge thanks to , John Michel (), David Darlington (), and especially one of my favorite musicians and humans on this planet, , for having me on this amazing project‼️

One of the coolest moments? Showing up on a day I wasn’t scheduled to record — just to be a fly on the wall. I wanted to absorb the vibe, understand everyone’s musical personalities, and get a deeper feel for the ensemble before my solo session.

So, what was asked of me? Create flamboyant tango violin cadenzas, counter melodies & rhythmic harmonies, and on a totally different track… blues violin solos.

This session left me feeling creatively fulfilled, and I cannot wait to hear (and share) the final product!😁

Fun fact: In true “me” fashion, I was asked to improvise a cadenza before the tango track began. If you know me, you know I need time for the music to marinate in my head. I left rehearsal saying, “I don’t know what I’ll play yet,” walked out a little stressed, slept on it… and woke up with a fiery idea for the intro. Hopefully it’s as sexy as the violin lines in ’s “Thong Song”😂
