This is so great, I can’t stop watching it. Watching things like this gives me an important break from the news of the day.

I saw Gypsy on Broadway last night and I like it a lot.
I was not troubled by Audra mixing a lot of head-voice/soprano singing; she made it her own.
I believed her acting.
I really loved Danny Burstein as Herbie.
The show is so brilliantly written.

The great Roberta Flack died recently. She was a beautiful singer and pianist. I’ve loved her records forever. I got to hear her once in concert in Pittsburgh and it was one of my favorite performances I ever saw.
Here’s her version of “Bridge Over Trouble Water”. It is throbbing with feeling.
That you God for letting us have her in our world with her rich, soothing voice.
Thank you, Ms. Flack. Rest in peace. ❤️
