Last year, I made the decision to refocus this business around the greatest passion of my life: helping fellow creative artists and activists build online platforms to promote their work and advance the cause of progressive social change. Last month, recognizing that effort may now be more needed than ever...I finally take the tarp off an organizing project that has been 28 years in the making: the New Breed Artist & Activist Network.
The mission of the New Breed Network (or simply the New Breed, for short) is creating transformative change by creating and sharing epic stories together - building parties, platforms and communities, online and offline. The New Breed Credo builds our company mission, and represents a natural extension of it.
Membership in the network will be free, but we will be offering premium services (such as coaching, training, consulting, platform building and hosting) for members who pay a monthly subscription fee.
Please note, however, that this community is not the right space for everyone. If you have traditional views about race, s*x, politics and/or the arts - you will probably not find a home here. If you believe activism is serious business and can never be fun, this is not the space for you. The New Breed is also not a good choice for those who are simply looking for allies - or serving as them. We're committed to creating more substantive bonds by building genuine, lasting relationships - not fleeting alliances.
