सामाजिक सञ्जालमा कसैको व्यक्तिगत जीवनलाई हाँसीमजाक बनाउने, अपमानजनक टिप्पणी गर्ने वा भद्दा कमेन्ट गर्ने कार्यलाई कानुनी रूपमा गम्भीर कसूर मानिएको छ। हालै संसदमा दर्ता गरिएको सामाजिक सञ्जाल विधेयक, २०८१ अनुसार यस्ता कार्यहरूमा निम्न सजायको व्यवस्था प्रस्ताव गरिएको छ:
⚖️ सम्भावित कानुनी कारबाही
- अपमानजनक शब्द, ट्रोल, गाली वा हेट स्पीच प्रयोग गरेमा:
- ५ लाख रुपैयाँसम्म जरिवाना हुन सक्छ।
- साइबर बुलिङ (जस्तै कसैलाई तर्साउने, लज्जित गराउने, अफवाह फैलाउने):
- २ वर्षसम्म कैद वा ३ लाख रुपैयाँसम्म जरिवाना, वा दुवै।
- साइबर स्टकिङ (जस्तै बारम्बार अनावश्यक सन्देश पठाउने, निगरानी गर्ने):
- ३ वर्षसम्म कैद वा ५ लाख रुपैयाँसम्म जरिवाना, वा दुवै।
- फेक आइडी वा छद्म पहिचानबाट कमेन्ट वा पोस्ट गरेमा:
- ३ महिनासम्म कैद वा ५० हजार रुपैयाँसम्म जरिवाना, वा दुवै।

गलत मनसायले अपमानजनक या अश्लिल शब्द प्रयोग गरि कमेन्ट गर्ने लत भएका व्यक्तिलाई चिन्ने समाजले पनि नराम्रो दृस्टीले हेर्ने गर्छ। यस्तो व्यवहार देखाउने मानसिकता द्वैध व्यक्तित्व , नार्सिसिस्टिक प्रवृत्ति वा साइकोप्याथिक वा एण्टी-सोशियल प्रवृत्तिका हुन्। त्यसैले घृणा हैन मायाँ बाडौ।

हामीबीचको कुरा त आपसी समझदारीमै त्यही दिन सकिएको थियो।
तर समाजकै दवाव, सामाजिक सञ्जालको दुरुपयोग, र सतही धारणाले
त्यो सकिएको कुरा फेरि दोहोर्‍याएर मेरो व्यक्तिगत जीवनमाथि गम्भीर अन्याय गर्‍यो।

म कानुनी प्रक्रियामा जान बाध्य भएँ।
म आफ्नो चरित्रको बचाउ गर्न बाध्य भएँ।
मैले मेरो विगत खोल्नुपर्‍यो—त्यो विगत जुन आज मेरो जीवनसँग सम्बन्धित छैन।
त्यो सम्बन्धसँग मेरो कुनै दुश्मनी थिएन,
न कुनै बदला लिने सोच।

स्पष्ट भन्न चाहन्छु—
यो लडाइँ मेरो व्यक्तिगत मान्छेसँग होइन।
यो लडाइँ हो—त्यस मानसिकतासँग,
जसले सत्य बोल्ने नारीलाई नै दोषी बनाउँछ।
जसले पीडितलाई नै कठघरामा उभ्याउँछ।

जब मैले आफ्ना भोगाइहरू सुनाएँ,
म माथि फेरि प्रश्नहरू उठाइए—‘किन अहिले?’, ‘किन फेरि?’
तर मलाई थाहा छ—यो देश अझै पनि पुरुषप्रधान सोचमा जकडिएको छ।
यहाँ सत्य बोल्नेलाई नै अपराधी बनाइन्छ।

तर अब म चुप लाग्दिन।
अब यो केवल मेरो न्यायको लडाइँ होइन,
यो हरेक नेपाली चेलीको आवाज हो।

म हरेक कानुनी, सामाजिक र नैतिक बाटो अपनाएर
न्यायका लागि अगाडि बढ्नेछु।
किनकि म एक्लो भए पनि,
सत्य मेरो साथमा छ।
