The first step to stop limiting yourself is to start believing in yourself 👏

Often we find ourselves not being able to move forward because we have these certain limiting beliefs that are like a stone in our shoe. That is just there, bothering you, all the time, and suddenly our pain becomes our biggest fear and stops us from going after what we want.

💃Now, to kick the hell out of that stone, you have to work on your mindset, be kinder to yourself, look back and see how much you have improved so far.

🌈 And when the shadow of doubt shows up, remind yourself of your purpose, why you love what you do and how fulfilling it is to live your dream, because if you are not there yet, you will be, soon!

🚀Aim high. The sky is not the limit anymore, go further, and remember YOU CAN DO IT!

Which one is more your style, 1 or 2? [read until the end, we have something for you]

One of the biggest things we hear from our clients is "I've been trying to find a style that represents me, but I feel I'm all over the place".

👉 First things first: you have to start by defining which design style represents you and your business best. The most common ones are

🔸 Bold: like the moodboard 1, represents an outgoing personality, charismatic, fun, and young.
🔸 Minimalist: like moodboard 2, less is more. Its has a elegant personality, sophisticated, sleek and even sexy.
🔸 Grunge: for those that want to be audaucious and out of the ordinary.
🔸Playful: its represents a eneergetic, spontaneous and happy personality.
🔸Organic: natural and fluid, can be read as spiritual and bohemian.

👉 The trick here is to understand what message you want to pass to your audience and go from there.

The more you define and understand your target audience, the more you will be able to speak exactly what they want to hear. And not only that. When you know to whom you’re speaking to, you also know:⠀

🔸 What type of difficulties your audience has and how you can create content that will help them⠀

🔸 How to speak to them: if they’re young, if they use slang or speak more formally. If they’re traditional or casual.⠀

🔸 What time they are usually online - so you know what better time to post, for example⠀

🔸 What better way to show your content - if it’s on video, photo, infographics, texts… ⠀

❓If your brand was a person, what human characteristics would describe them?

For example, if Youngish was a person we would describe her as THE cool friend, that is fun, creative, and full of personality.

❓Which message do you want to transmit?

Do you want to be perceived as a brand that communicates the message of being an adventurer or are your girl power? Like Patagonia vs. Nasty Gal, we bet that you can see the style difference in a second.

❓What sets you apart from the competition?

In the end, what will make you stand out from others is YOU! When you define your differentials against your competition, you find a way to translate that into visual forms.

❓Who are you trying to reach?

You don't communicate the same way with a kid and a grown-up, do you? The same thing for your visuals, for example, if your brand sells sneakers for the Gen-Z generation, using a super elegant and sophisticated approach won't be very appealing to them.

👾One of our favorite parts of the creative process is to brainstorm and look for visual references to set up the moodboard. This visual guide is one of the key elements to define the aesthetics of a brand. It's a great way to collect inspirations and organize ideas. ⚡️

For them, we wanted to represent the laid-back feeling of the brand, with cool and fun color tones, and give it a youthful, modern look especially because of the persona's personality. The vibrant colors speak directly to the young audience.

We did this today. We went out and screamed, danced, and had fun. Nowhere special or specific, just across the block, just to break free from a routine that often makes us feel burnt out. 🔥

In a mad world, during crazy moments, it’s so easy to feel suffocated. You know, that feeling of trying so so hard, but feeling like you not gonna make it? Yeah, well... you are not alone, we all have those moments.

Working long hours, being connected all the time is expected of those that want to succeed, but we forget that we need to take a breather, that if you drive too fast you may miss the view, but c’mon, the view is the fun part! Don’t miss the view. Slow down, respect your journey, walk at your own pace.💃🏽

Hey you, you know that your promises of a great quality product/service won't make your brand stand out, right?⠀

In a chaotic, information-saturated world, we are all looking to live authentic and meaningful experiences. Quality is essential, but that alone does not guarantee a successful brand. We are all seeking more; values to connect with, purposes to relate to... we want to be invited to the world of that brand.⠀

But how to be authentic in an ultra-globalized world, where everything has been created already, and the market seems so crowded with other brands that do the same that you do? 🧐⠀

By being authentic. A study shows that when a brand is authentic:⠀

⚡ 9 out of 10 consumers are willing to take action to reward the brand for its authenticity⠀

⚡52% would recommend the brand to others⠀

⚡49% would pledge loyalty to the brand⠀

So yeah, people are aware of how stuff works now. They’re not willing to buy into just a logo and promises of quality. They want to be part of something bigger. How do you that, you ask..⠀

🌈Be genuine: show your real self. A brand shouldn’t hide its mistakes or imperfections out of fear of looking weak. Showing vulnerability builds loyalty and trust among customers and employees.⠀

How does my past experiences traveling the world help me with my creativity? 🌍✈️

I like to say that I’m a wanderlust. My favorite thing in the world is to travel: go to different places, meet new people, see new things.. And it was only after I started working with creativity that I realized it’s all connected. Having foreign experiences increase cognitive flexibility, which is the mind’s ability to jump between different ideas and this is a key component of creativity. 👾

So to make it simple and put on a list - I love doing lists haha! - these are the 5 main reasons why traveling the world has helped me so much with creativity:

🌍 Traveling forced me to get out of my comfort zone, which was SOOO beneficial to open my mind to see things from another perspective;

🌍 I became more open to try new things, and talk to new people - once you’re in a place where you don’t know anyone, or anything (sometimes not even the language), you either just stay in one place and do nothing, or you go ahead and may live the best moments of your life;

🌍 I’m constantly thinking of creative - and unique - solutions to solve problems

🌍 Exposing myself to a different culture was good for multicultural engagement, immersion, and adaptation.

🌍 It made me innovative. When you choose to interact with locals from the place you’re traveling to, immerse in their culture, learn their language, try their foods and have new experiences, you start to think outside the box.
