CES 2026 is a wrap, and UVLD was there in the thick of it! Lighting keynotes for Nvidia, Samsung, and Siemens, UVLD’s Paul Sharwell, Jeff Nellis, David Rees, David Seitz, Sam Swagert, and Abby Wells were there bringing light to the new year. Thanks as always to all of our awesome clients and partners!

2025 is a WRAP, and what a gift it has been! We are beyond grateful to all of our amazing clients and the trust they put in us, all of the amazing projects and opportunities, all of our parters and vendors and collaborators, our phenomenal bench of electricians who make it all happen, our incredibly cool jobs, and of course the absolutely phenomenal cast of characters that is our UVLD team. A very Happy New Year to all, and here’s to an equally great 2026!

When road family meets home family, the total is WAY more than the sum of the parts. Many thanks to Matt Webb and his wife Rose for hosting this UVLD extravaganza at their home in Texas, bringing together the lighting teams from Prestonwood’s The Gift of Christmas and from the United Way 100 year celebration, both in production concurrently earlier this month in the Dallas area. To say Matt’s BBQ was better than anything on the Texas top 10 would not be an exaggeration! Too many people in this photo to name, but call outs to the UVLD members in attendance: Matt Webb, Greg Norgeot, Jeff Nellis, David Rees, David Seitz, Sam Swagert, and Sieun Ye. From our families to your families, wishing a warm and peaceful holiday season to all!

What. A. Team! UVLD partnered with LEO Events this fall on a sprawling multi-venue, multi-room event—eight fully produced stages, and we were thrilled to be there. We can’t share event pictures, but UVLD loves a night at a mid-level family friendly restaurant. Here at an extravaganza of wings and apps are our designers Greg Cohen, Matt Webb, Rob Cangemi, Helena Magee, Jeff Nellis, Matthew Piercy, Sam Swagert, Abby Wells, and Sieun Ye, along with a true powerhouse of an electrician lineup: Glenn Bowman, Pete Cambell, John Cambell, Brian Davies, Dave Favorita, Bill Hopkins, Mark Nead, Jeff Quinn, Robert Reichling, Sal Restuccia, and Johnny Washam. We were honored to bring our A-Team to this A-Level event produced by LEO.

For the past decade, UVLD has partnered with Webb to evolve the doTERRA International Convention into an emotionally charged live experience, with an arena General Session and engaging Product Experience. This year, due to construction, the General Session moved from the arena into a vast convention space, presenting a new creative and technical challenge: preserve the scale and excitement of an arena production while crafting an immersive and personal experience for 7,500 attendees. This began even before the opening production number, with intentional and dramatic lighting in the hallways leading to the GS. The result redefined what a corporate event can be: arena-level impact reimagined for a new environment and powered by the artistry of Paul Sharwell’s lighting design.

UVLD’s David Rees brought fun, immersive, and museum quality lighting to doTERRA’s Product Experience, partnering with doTerra to share their story through light. Precisely lit product exhibits and experiential areas built by 360 Scenery transformed the Salt Palace’s exhibit halls into an inviting and educational environment, with focus on their product line and wellness initiatives.

Huge gratitude to Webb executive producer Natalie Peay, producer Molly Korzep in the General Session, and producers McKenzie Warren and Kolby Brown in the Product Experience. Webb technical directors Michael Shields and Trevor Handley absolutely killed it as always, and a special shout out to Trevor Handley for fantastic video creation in the Product Experience.

And, of course, we couldn’t do it without our world-class electrics team. Chris Nye, Heath Goodwin, and Darius Knight in the General Session, with the Product Expo installation headed by Dave Haar, Jeramy Morin, Chris Wright, and Damon Hartmeier.

Thanks again to the whole Webb team for your ongoing and valued partnership!

We were honored to join LEO Events this August in lighting the Fred W. Smith Memorial at FedExForum in Memphis. Sieun Ye led the design, along with production electrician Andrew De Meo, and gear from Rob Charnetski at Christie Lites. The event was produced by Scott Quaid. Honoring the life of FedEx founder and former CEO Fred W. Smith, the event was a fitting farewell for a man whose vision shaped modern shipping.

Congratulations to our own Kevin Lawson for garnering his seventh Prime Time Emmy nomination, this time as a Lighting Director for the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony!  Collaborating often with lighting designer Allen Branton, Kevin is no stranger to the Emmy’s, having won the prize in 2022 for the same roll. In addition to his enormous breadth of lighting design experience ranging from Broadway to broadcast television to high end corporate work, Kevin also teaches lighting design and technology at the University Of Cincinnati. We’re proud to have him on our UVLD team!

UVLD has been bringing the light to the global NVIDIA CEO keynotes this year, embarking on a whirlwind schedule of arena shows, from Las Vegas to San Jose to Taipei to Paris. In partnership with Production Resources Group, UVLD’s Jeff Nellis has led the project, along with UVLD programming superstar David Seitz as an invaluable design collaborator. Special thanks to our phenomenal partners at PRG on this one, with enormous thanks to Nick Skaja, John Saltonstall, Frank Roggio, Matt Hohmann, and Devyn Tibbals. Huge kudos to Producer Barrett Hall with Invoke Entertainment for all of his steady guidance, and the incomparable Ben Green for all that he brings. And of course, our phenomenal electrics team led by Chris Nye, along with Dave Haar, and the small army that constitutes their team. We could not accomplish this without them.   .north.america

It’s hard to put into words how much this show means to us. Walmart Associates Week is always a highlight of our year—and Associates Week 2025 was no exception. We’re honored to light up Fayetteville alongside such an extraordinary team. ⚡️

• 22 days onsite
• 4 essential meetings
• 20 unforgettable acts
• 17,000+ energized Walmart associates

From Jimmy Fallon’s opening laughs to powerhouse sets by The Killers, Noah Kahan, Camila Cabello, Post Malone, and Meghan Trainor, the Bud Walton and Barnhill Arenas never looked better. 🎤🎸

UVLD’s Greg Cohen and Matt Webb led the arena design, with Matthew Piercy crafting the Wednesday concerts and Sam Swagert guiding the International Meeting. 💡

We’re deeply grateful to David Kenyon and the entire team at LEO Events—led by executive producers Kelly Hunt, Amelia Seaton, and Sara Orzech—for bringing us on board and creating an environment where everyone can do their best work. Technical Director Steve Barrett kept everything humming, with Sam Moergen expertly managing the headliner performances.

Our production electricians, led by Pete Campbell and joined by Bill Moore and John Campbell, made sure every cue landed exactly right.

Massive thanks to Upstaging—Steve Wojda’s incredible crew of Joby Benoit, David George, Abby Johnson, Nina Pebeahsy, and Matt Rodewald delivered flawless support. 🔧🚛

Media excellence came from Stacey Ladd, Rachel Heitzer, and Cameron Yeary’s stellar team at Thrasos Media. 🚀
And content wizardry, as always, from Emile Wolsky/Inter-tain and Greg Russel/xitelabs. 🎞️

Every year, this event reminds us why we love what we do: celebrating the people who power Walmart. 💙🛒
