For the past decade, UVLD has partnered with Webb to evolve the doTERRA International Convention into an emotionally charged live experience, with an arena General Session and engaging Product Experience. This year, due to construction, the General Session moved from the arena into a vast convention space, presenting a new creative and technical challenge: preserve the scale and excitement of an arena production while crafting an immersive and personal experience for 7,500 attendees. This began even before the opening production number, with intentional and dramatic lighting in the hallways leading to the GS. The result redefined what a corporate event can be: arena-level impact reimagined for a new environment and powered by the artistry of Paul Sharwell’s lighting design.
UVLD’s David Rees brought fun, immersive, and museum quality lighting to doTERRA’s Product Experience, partnering with doTerra to share their story through light. Precisely lit product exhibits and experiential areas built by 360 Scenery transformed the Salt Palace’s exhibit halls into an inviting and educational environment, with focus on their product line and wellness initiatives.
Huge gratitude to Webb executive producer Natalie Peay, producer Molly Korzep in the General Session, and producers McKenzie Warren and Kolby Brown in the Product Experience. Webb technical directors Michael Shields and Trevor Handley absolutely killed it as always, and a special shout out to Trevor Handley for fantastic video creation in the Product Experience.
And, of course, we couldn’t do it without our world-class electrics team. Chris Nye, Heath Goodwin, and Darius Knight in the General Session, with the Product Expo installation headed by Dave Haar, Jeramy Morin, Chris Wright, and Damon Hartmeier.
Thanks again to the whole Webb team for your ongoing and valued partnership!
