The Queens Post, through its neighborhood publications, helps provide local, breaking news and events in communities all across the borough and North Brooklyn. The company was founded in 2009 by Christian Murray, Editor & Publisher, who is a reporter by trade, spending several years covering politics at NEWSDAY and whom also wrote about investment banking for Thomson Reuters. He earned a graduate degree at the Columbia School of Journalism, and was nominated for a Pulitzer in 2001 for a story on a New York real estate scam. Christian was also the founder of the LIC Post (http://licpost.com), Astoria Post (http://astoriapost.com), Sunnyside Post (http://sunnysidepost.com) Jackson Heights Post (http://jacksonheightspost.com), Forest Hills Post (http://foresthillspost.com), Ridgewood Post (http://ridgewoodpost.com), Flushing Post (http://flushingpost.com) and Greenpoint Post (http://greenpointpost.com).
