Evgenia is a London-based illustrator with a lighthearted, cheerful style and a special love for storytelling through pictures. She made the leap into children’s book illustration after a career in advertising, bringing with her a strong sense of visual communication and playful design. No More Chairs is a story about a teacher who made a lifelong practice of inclusion after a childhood encounter with racism. Susan Gal partnered with Little Brown Books For Young Readers and author Dan Gill to tell this true story of bravery and belonging.

Photo collage illustrator Beatriz Ortiz often uses botanical elements in her designs, resulting in a lush, decorative and vintage-inspired look. Thus, her style was perfect for these recent stories about the study of nature.

1) For California Magazine, Beatriz illustrated an article about iNaturalist, a Berkeley-born app functioning like a digital crowdsourced field notebook and leading to one of the largest biodiversity datasets on Earth.

2) Beatriz also illustrated the cover of the most recent issue of American Scientist, highlighting a story on the "Ecoacoustics of Forests". Sound can be a hugely important source of data about ecosystems—but first it has to be reliably recorded.

Pago fruit juice packaging illustrated by Ana Gaman 💘

Ana created a custom illustrated label for a limited Valentine's Day release of Pago's iconic strawberry flavor. The concept was built around a heart motif glowing with pink hues, evoking warmth and love.
In addition to the packaging, Ana's designs were used for social media and on a t shirt for a giveaway campaign!

Keisha Okafor illustrated these portraits for Good Night Stories For Rebel Girls, a series of books introducing the stories of extraordinary women throughout history to young girls in the form of engaging and inspiring fairytales.

1) MC Soffia, Brazilian rapper whose lyrics empower black women in her country
2) Yaa Asantewaa, Queen Mother of Ejisu in the Ashanti Empire (modern day Ghana) who led the Ashanti War of Independence against the British Empire
3) Marsai Martin, American actress and producer committed to promoting young and diverse voices through her production company, Genius Productions

Costa Rica, long an oasis of calm, now faces growing geopolitical turbulence. This previously tranquil part of the tropics is being assailed by external pressures.

Ale + Ale's illustration for this article in CIGI (Center for International Governance and Innovation) depicts the historical moment when the founder of the modern republic, José Figueres Ferrer, took a sledgehammer to the walls of the army’s headquarters at the Bellavista Fortress in San José, officially abolishing the Costa Rican army.
