With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, Victo Ngai 倪傳婧 collaborated with Hong Kong Maxim’s on a limited edition package design for their lava custard mooncakes. The ornate piece depicts Victo's vision of an “intricate contraption” transforming and refining liquid moonlight into mooncakes.

Coming this Fall with beautiful cover art by Rebecca Lee Kunz — The Water Carriers: A Journey Through Cherokee History and the Secret Life of Rivers.
Historian Gregory D. Smithers provides an illuminating journey through Cherokee history and an ancient tradition that can change how we understand our world. In Southern Appalachia, rivers, which Cherokees called Long Person—or Ganvhidv Yvwi—moved the earth and excavated mountains to reveal fertile valleys. Smithers highlights how Long Person drew Cherokees and their Indigenous ancestors to the water’s edge where they nurtured an enduring bond with the river.

The Brave Union worked with Restoration Games on art for UNMATCHED: Stars & Stripes, a special edition of the popular game released this Summer in celebration of America’s 250th. Unmatched is a tactical board and card game where players pit iconic characters from history, myth, and pop culture against one another.

This edition celebrates the folklore and legends of American history with four iconic figures: Rosie the Riveter, George Washington, John Henry, and Wyatt Earp. The Brave Union illustrated the entire set of cards as well as the box art featuring the four characters.
