The AI scoring methodology on LinkedIn is vague and it's going to catch a lot of people who don't deserve to be flagged.

If you take a transcript, have AI do a first draft, and then heavily edit it yourself, does that count as AI-heavy or AI-assisted?

Right now there's no clear answer and a lot of creators are going to get caught in a trap they didn't walk into on purpose.

Someone put a trap in their LinkedIn bio and AI sales tools fell for it.

Cameron Matiz added a prompt telling any LLM to include a flan recipe.

Sure enough, an AI-generated cold email arrived with the full recipe baked in.

The post went from 2,000 to 23,000 reactions overnight.

This is what happens when you automate outreach and nobody checks.

We got our LinkedIn Year in Review and thought we crushed it.

Then we compared screenshots.

Same number of active days. Same peak hours. Same everything.

One post about it later and thousands of people said the same thing.

LinkedIn gave everyone the exact same results.

A company you'd never heard of posted a $1.5M content role.

PayPal listed $240K and people lost it.
Virio said hold my budget.

Was it a legit hire or a PR stunt?

Coda acquired Grammarly and Superhuman.

Then decided to rename Grammarly... to Superhuman.

The bigger brand. The more recognized name. Gone.

Ironically, Grammarly sounded more human than Superhuman ever did.

We broke down why this was a mistake.

An xAI hackathon winner built something wild.

AI that inserts dynamic ad placements into any show, any scene, any time.

A random coffee in Suits? Now it's a Coca-Cola.

Clickable. Shoppable. While the show keeps rolling.

Scary? Absolutely. But also kind of genius.

Cvent just acquired ON24 for about $400 million.

A platform founded in 1998 with 500 to 600 employees.

Close your eyes and you can see the Minesweeper UI.

The event tech consolidation is getting real.

Clawdbot showed up and people started giving it access to everything.

Logins. Accounts. The whole digital life.

It sounded like what Siri should have been years ago.

But so did AutoGPT. And that went nowhere.

We both got it mixed up with Claude's Cowork the same week.

The AI agent space is confusing right now.

Layoffs happened. CMO brought in external agencies to replace internal work.

That part was normal.

What wasn't normal was the $10 million embezzlement scheme running underneath it.

The agencies were funneling money to a company the CMO owned.

He called it Collateral Damage.

The audacity alone deserves its own case study.

The whole "leave ChatGPT for Claude" wave hit LinkedIn hard after the Pentagon deal.

Everyone was acting like Claude was the clean alternative.

But Anthropic was working with the Pentagon long before OpenAI got involved, they just ended the contract one day earlier.

We thought the full story deserved more attention than it was getting.
