Finalement, malgré les défis inimaginables auxquels nous faisons face quotidiennement en tant que Nation, le monde commence a se rendre compte qu'Haiti ne va pas en Coupe du Monde juste pour dire qu'elle y a été.

Je ne dis pas encore - et j'insiste sur le mot pas encore - que nous allons choquer le monde en faisant une fois de plus ce que l'on n'attend jamais de nous autres, mais cela ne m’étonnerait guère que nos Grenadiers osent aller a l'assaut de résultats diamétralement contraires au narratif auquel le monde est instinctivement enclin a nous associer.

Meme en 1974 lors de notre toute 1ere participation, notre Manno Sanon a marqué deux buts inoubliables pour nous autres Haïtiens contre l'Italie et l'Argentine; ce qui était impensable a l’époque.

Cette dame voit très loin en comprenant, que dans le cas d'Haiti, qu'en Coupe du Monde il n'y a ni petite équipe, ni petite Nation. Qui vivra verra.

Today, I want to honor the life and legacy of a man who deeply inspired me — Dadou Pasquet.
As musicians, we are shaped by those who came before us, and Dadou’s touch, his soul, and his brilliance on the guitar left a mark that will never fade.

He carried our music with pride, with elegance, and with a fire that spoke to the heart. Even though he’s no longer with us, the sound he created continues to live in every note we play and every stage we step on.

To his family, I send my deepest condolences. May you find strength and peace knowing how much he meant to musicians and music lovers around the world. His legacy is eternal.

Rest in power, Dadou. Thank you for the inspiration.

When Herriot Tabuteau started a drug development company in 2012, he decided to do so differently. And he’d be both CEO and the scientific founder, bringing to bear his dec­ades of experience investing in biotech startups and his medical training. But he’d take no venture capital, self-funding with help from friends and family.

Named for two parts of a nerve cell, the “axon” and the “soma,” Axsome has come a long way from its beginnings in a windowless three-desk office in New York’s Rockefeller Center, affectionately remembered as “the broom closet.”

Today, it has three drugs on the market and five in the pipeline, with the potential to help the estimated 150 million Americans suffering from conditions like depression, ADHD or Alzheimer’s disease.
