#ILoveGay Today meets up with Matthew Conrado, Associate Marketing Manager of PepsiCo by day, TikTok content creator by night! At PepsiCo, Matthew has been part of the New York City brand marketing & partnership team, with a focus on their new product, Bubly, which he is now focused on as part of their strategy & innovation group.

During the pandemic, Matthew spent some time in Texas and New Orleans, where he began creating TikTok videos that have since gone "mini-viral." Coming back to NYC, he's continued to create some amazing content that has allowed him to develop a keen eye for how to be successful in this new "video entertainment" environment.

Q***r signaling in the age of TikTok... There’s a new trending filter on TikTok called Blue & Red. Its job is simple: Like many others before it, the Blue & Red filter transforms your face either with stereotypically masculine features (against a blue background) or with feminine features (against a red background). The difference is that you can switch between the two simply by blinking, and it first went viral as a way to lip-sync to a specific duet from In the Heights between a male and female character. For some users, it became a whole lot more.
