The pool chair hogs need to stop.
I just caught the housekeeping team reserving them all for themselves even though they won’t finish work for 5 hours 😂

Do you usually book :

Interior
Oceanview
Balcony

Or do you go big and cruise in a suite? I personally usually land in the middle at Oceanview. I want the extra space but don’t often want to splurge on the balcony. I prefer to spend less per cruise so I can cruise more. We do get balcony cabins when the price is right! Once I got a balcony for only $40 more than an Oceanview! But we have also stayed in a fair share of interior cabins to save.

Which do you prefer and why?

We’re on the Dream right now; getting off the ship tomorrow! We decided to surprise our room steward.

Hi! New cruiser! Hoping someone with more experience can help.. we booked a Havana on Celebration and loved it! I’ve read that Vista class Havana area is even better.. when I’m looking for sailings and it says “carnival picks your stateroom.” If you selected the Havana category are you guaranteed a Havana room or just any balcony? The price difference seems too good to be true and the terms don’t mention specific room types. ☺️
