My 9 year old called me at 10pm from a stranger's house, not knowing where any of the adults were 😳

Coparenting is hard enough and now this?! 😡

six years of dues on time, every landscaping request done within the window, never once been the problem household, and now apparently my kids laughing in our own front yard on a week day is worth an $80 fine and a visit from one of their neighborhood reps!

what actually got me was finding out afterward it was the same 3 houses who complained about my bins being out an hour early back in the spring, so I'm starting to think this was never really about noise at all, more like I've become the one they report on principle now regardless of what it actually is.

I've written to the board directly asking for the noise policy in writing, actual decibel levels, actual hours, cause "kids playing outside during the day" being a violation feels like something somebody's just gonna have to explain to me properly before I hand over a single dollar... 😳😡
