IM OUTSIDE 📍
I love my hairstylist & I love my hair 💐

I met Asiah at the end of March & she looked at my install & said “don’t wash ya hair , imma do it for you” 🔒🫂🤭💐

That is love

& when someone pours my way , I remind them often that I am ☔️

Book her for all your hair care needs & get ready for her online classes cause she has alot to teach 📍🫶🏽

Ricardos has brought me a lot of dope memories over the years & this May they are facing a huge loss ❤️‍🩹

After 22 years of serving the community, Ricardo Steak House is preparing to lose its liquor license. A place that’s been part of birthdays, late nights, celebrations, and culture since 2004 is now facing a major change. Moments like this remind us how quickly policy, zoning, and city decisions can impact local businesses that people call home. If you’ve ever had a memory here, now’s the time to pull up, support, eat good, and show love while you still can. 🍽️🥂

Three days of packed buses, delayed commutes, and uncertainty later… the LIRR strike is officially over.

Train service begins restoring in phases starting at noon today while crews inspect tracks, assign workers, and work to fully restart the system.

The tentative agreement reportedly includes wage increases, retroactive pay, and no new fare hikes for riders. New York kept moving… but this strike reminded everybody just how important transit workers really are. 🚆☔️

Day 3 of the LIRR strike and NYC is officially feeling it. Delays, traffic, packed buses, expensive Ubers, and a whole lot of frustrated commuters. But one thing about New York… when the people who keep the city moving stop working, everybody notices. 🚉☔️

Day 3 of the LIRR strike and NYC is officially feeling it. 🚉

Here’s what we know so far:
• Around 300,000 commuters are affected daily
• This is the first LIRR strike in over 30 years
• About 3,500 workers walked off the job
• The main issues are wages, inflation, and healthcare costs
• Shuttle buses are running, but delays and overcrowding are expected
• The strike could reportedly cost the economy up to $61 million per day

Whether you support the workers or you’re just trying to survive the commute… one thing about New York, when transit stops, EVERYBODY feels it. ☔️
