Basic customer service seems to have vanished entirely! When you had a problem in the past, you would pick up the phone, dial the number, and a real, living person would come on the second ring to assist you. Right now? In the hopes that someone will answer, you must repeatedly yell "REPRESENTATIVE!" into the phone, punch in your account number three times, and listen to a ten-minute recorded menu. We only want a little bit of traditional human connection and assistance, not artificial intelligence!

How many times do you usually press "0" before you finally get a real person on the line?
