HARLEM ENTREPRENEURIAL MICRO-GRANT INITIATIVE – 125th Street Business Improvement District

#Harlem The Apollo Theater, 125th Street BID and Harlem Commonwealth Council have collaborated to launch the Harlem Entrepreneurial Micro-Grant Initiative Grants.

Harlem Entrepreneurial Micro Grants will be awarded to small independent Harlem businesses affected by the world health crisis.

Through the initiative the organizations will distribute twenty $1,000 micro-grants to local merchants that define the culture and the vitality of Harlem.

#Harlem Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement, Inc. - HCCI has helped address the needs of Harlem residents.

During the COVID-19 pandemic they have conducted telephonic wellness checks, provided free online financial literacy training, and provided critical affordable housing.

HCCI manages 2 senior housing developments that house 175 senior residents. During this crisis they are providing them with PPE, groceries, and emotional support.
