I haven’t seen this one. It’s got Fish!

📺On January 9, 1973 the made-for-television film “The Devil's Daughter” aired as the ABC Movie of the Week! Directed by Jeannot Szwarc (Jaws 2) and written by Colin Higgins. It stars Shelley Winters, Belinda Montgomery, Robert Foxworth, Jonathan Frid, Martha Scott, Joseph Cotten, Barbara Sammeth, Diane Ladd, Lucille Benson, Thelma Carpenter and Abe Vigoda. A young girl whose mother had sold her soul to Satan when she was born is told by Satan that she must marry a fellow demon. Thomas L. Miller enjoyed working with Higgins and commissioned him to write an Alfred Hitchcock style thriller. This became the Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor film Silver Streak (1976).📺

An insane movie that will be covered on my podcast…hopefully in 2026!

On January 9, 1975 “Night of the Howling Beast” was released in Madrid, Spain under its original title “The Curse of the Beast!” Directed by Miguel Iglesias Bonns and written by Paul Naschy (as Jacinto Molina). It stars Naschy, Mercedes Molina (as Grace Mills), Silvia Solar, Gil Vadal, Luis Induni, Josep Castillo Escalona (as Castillo Escalona), Ventura Oller, Veronica Miriel and Victor Israel. The plot follows Waldemar Daninsky (Naschy), who goes to Tibet to look for proof that the yeti exists. He gets captured by two savage vampire women in a cave who turn him into a werewolf by biting him. Waldemar's friends are then kidnapped by a band of Tibetan pirates who torture their victims gruesomely, and in the grand climax of the film, Waldemar (in werewolf form) gets to fight a genuine Yeti in bloody hand-to-fang combat. The film has also been known as The Werewolf and the Yeti and Hall of the Mountain King.
