I posted this almost a year ago, and I couldn’t not share it again on Father’s Day.

I love my dad, and I’m so grateful for the amazing dads and grandfathers out there. Happy Father’s Day. 🤍

“Once you’ve come to the temple, you take a part of the temple with you.”

That’s what my dad told me the first time I went inside the temple.

I had not felt that level of peace in months, and I didn’t want to leave. But he helped me realize that the peace we feel inside the temple can stay with us long after we walk out the doors.

Does anyone have any special experiences in the temple they want to share?

I’ve spent too many seasons trying to pull my own petals open… wondering why I wasn’t further along or more “in bloom.”

But I’ve realized… real beauty comes when you stop forcing it.

God doesn’t work in panic. He works in peace.

And I realized that my only job right now is to trust the process, soak up the light, and let Him shape the timing.

Because when I bloom, I want it to be because heaven said now—not because I said hurry.

Some flowers open early. Some take their time. But none are late.

And just like in a garden, my season doesn’t need to match anyone else’s to be beautiful.

There is strength in slow growth.
There is purpose in quiet seasons.

There is grace in becoming… not all at once, but moment by moment.

For those who are “waiting” for marriage:

This is your reminder that your life is NOT on hold!

Take everything God has given you and build a beautiful life with it now.

Marriage may be something you deeply desire, but your life still has purpose, meaning, and goodness today. 🤍

I’m inviting everyone to choose one day this coming week to fast with a specific purpose. ❤️

And when you do it:

1️⃣ Pray and bring a specific question, difficulty, or decision to God.

2️⃣ Create quiet space to listen for His direction.

3️⃣ Hear him!

If you accept this invitation, please DM me afterward and share your experience. I would truly love to hear what you felt, learned, or received. ❤️

I hope this is the nudge you needed today. 🤍

You don’t have to have every answer before you move forward.

Sometimes all God asks of us is the courage to take the next step. As we do, He has a way of opening doors we never could have planned for ourselves.

One step at a time. He’ll meet you there.

To the woman wondering if it’s “too late” to come back…

After the kids.
After the pause.
After the years you spent building everyone else.

Remember this:
You do not need to have every new credential, every perfect answer, or every box checked before you step back in.

So many women count themselves out before they even apply…
assuming the world only wants the “uninterrupted” résumé.

But the truth?
The workforce does not just need younger.
It needs capable.

And most of the time the woman who has had years of experience elsewhere is the better fit.

So if you’re on the fence, I’m telling you, get back in it!

The older I get, the more I realize how differently men and women think.

Not better.
Not worse.
Just different.

And honestly… a lot of relationships would feel healthier if we stopped trying to make the other person think exactly like us.

Neither is wrong.

but we both have a lot to learn from the other gender.

It’s easy to fade after your mission.

No more schedule.
No companion.
No name tag reminding you who you are.

And little by little… the habits slip.

But you didn’t serve a mission just to come home and go back to who you were before.

You became a disciple.

The kind who listens for the Spirit.
Who looks for people.
Who lives with purpose.

That doesn’t end when the mission does.

So if you feel yourself fading…

This is your reminder.

Turn it back on.

Our culture tells us to:

1️⃣ Build the career2️⃣ Chase every opportunity3️⃣ Protect our freedom4️⃣ Prioritize our own happiness5️⃣ Avoid anything that might hold us back

And none of it involves having children.

Children require something our culture keeps telling us to avoid: sacrifice.

Maybe the birth-rate crisis isn’t only about money. Maybe it’s also about what we’ve been taught makes a meaningful life. 🤍
