This Basset Hound did not deserve to die. This Basset Hound did not deserve to live in unimaginable pain. His death was unfair and his life was unfair.

Tomorrow, every city official will be hearing about his death.

If you all can make yourself available tomorrow to make some calls with me, I will be posting instructions in the morning. The whole world will hold the demons who "run" our city accountable.

Can love really be this peaceful? 🐾

This little Basset Hound found the safest place to dream.
No toys, no treats, just a warm lap and complete trust.
Moments like this remind us that love is often quiet.
Sometimes the smallest hearts leave the biggest footprints.
I could watch this sweet nap forever.

Would your dog choose your lap for the best nap too? ❤️

Could you be the one they have been waiting for? ❤️

Every day, this gentle soul watches the door with quiet hope.
A kind voice, a soft touch, or a warm bed could change everything.
They never stopped believing someone would come.
Love does not care about age or perfect looks.
It only asks for one chance to be seen.
Maybe today is the day their story finally changes.
A forever home is the greatest gift any heart can receive.
Please never stop believing in second chances.

Would you open your heart to a dog like this?

A little soul found the perfect place to dream. ❤️🐾

He asks for so little. A warm blanket, a quiet place to rest, and someone who makes him feel safe. Every peaceful nap tells the story of trust, love, and the comfort that only a forever home can give.

Sometimes the biggest reminders come from the smallest moments. In a world that never seems to slow down, this sweet Basset Hound reminds us that happiness can be as simple as feeling protected and loved. Every rescued heart deserves a chance to sleep without fear and wake up knowing they belong.

If this gentle face made you smile today, share a little kindness with someone who needs it. Love has a beautiful way of coming back when it's freely given.

If this sweet pup curled up beside you for a nap, what would you name him? 💙

A loyal heart with the saddest eyes ❤️

He may not say a word, but his eyes tell a story of trust, love, and waiting for someone who truly cares. Sometimes the biggest comfort comes from four paws and a gentle soul.

Would you take this sweet Basset Hound home if you had the chance? 🐶

The purest love never asks for anything back.

Every time those gentle eyes look up, they remind us that loyalty cannot be bought.
A Basset Hound does not care about your money or your mistakes.
They just stay, love, and wait for you to come home.

Do you think dogs love us more than people ever can?

One Kind Act Can Save a Life ❤️

This sweet dog had no way to escape the dangerous heat inside a parked car. Every minute mattered, and one brave decision made all the difference.

Now, people who act to rescue trapped pets in certain situations have legal protection. Sometimes compassion cannot wait.

What would you do if you saw a pet trapped inside a hot car?
