Last night’s Tonight Conversation was everything I hoped for and more 🫶🏽 The panelists were incredible—dropping real, valuable lessons about this journey we call life.
So let’s get into it. We had honest conversations about relationships, and let’s be real… most of us have played the fool at least once (I definitely have).
But here is the question: after you have played the fool, do you stay the fool?
Me: ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Being single and happy is perfectly fine—truly. I’m waiting until God sends the person who genuinely values me.
Until then, I’m out here embracing my quiet luxury lifestyle in peace 🤏🏽

Let’s Discuss: A Transparent Reflection
First and foremost, Tyler Perry, thank you for using your platform to bring awareness to the struggles many Black women face daily. Your impact resonates deeply.
Reflecting on certain moments in my early adult years as a single parent raising my son, I am reminded of the challenges—the struggles were undeniably real:
The mistreatment of Black men—facing physical and emotional abuse, often as a result of unresolved trauma.
Losing my job—leading to financial instability.
Being evicted from a poorly maintained apartment—a direct consequence of job loss.
The lack of empathy from some sisters—those who could uplift and support but instead show little compassion for another woman’s hardships.
These are just a few examples, but each of us carries a story. If not for my village—God, my family, and my closest sister friends—I, too, could have slipped into a dark place.
During that period, I battled depression and anxiety. It took years before I sought help, but eventually, I did. How many of us, as Black women, have suffered in silence? You don’t have to anymore.
