Easily one of the most memorable days of my life - boating just one 6 lber in a summer trip is viewed as a success, but managing 3 in a day with a near 7 is almost unfathomable to me.

What a great time exploring some new water on Erie and chasing after some true giants. Not often you get full days of calm water out there.

Big fish was 6.83 x 21.75” and we lost our 30 lb bag fish 3 separate times throughout the day 😆 ended with a lovely 29.83 lbs for 5.

6.32 x 21.25”- a solid summer fish from a little while back. It can be one of the hardest tasks to trick these old creatures when the lakes slick off. The dog days are here!

This big girl fell victim to one of Smallmouth Bass Inc ‘s new hair jigs. I even got to watch her chase it down on top of the flat.. how fun is that!

Fun couple of days snooping around up shallow this spring led to some big bites.

The first one went 21” and almost 6 lbs. Such a beautiful/healthy fish.

Also had the pleasure of taking Danny Pinter out for a quick sesh and we almost found him a new PB. Now that the spawn is wrapped up I’m excited to get back out chasing some fun summer bites…

Honestly doesn’t get a whole lot better than this one. A VERY near PB on a frog will really get your heart racing. I couldn’t believe this fish from the second I saw her open a massive hole in the duckweed until she hit the net.

Such a sweet fish for these parts.. 5.82 x 21”.

Gator trip started off with a bang with a monster 41.5” Northern eating at my rod tip. These monsters move surprisingly fast when they identify a potential meal.

Not many freshwater fish are more powerful either. This big gal ripped about 50 feet of drag on a cranked down reel. Such an epic looking fish with unique coloring too.

Felt good to hop in a lil post spawn Green fish derby a couple weeks back. Managed the win with a hair over 20 # for our biggest LMB tourney weight yet.

Always fun fishin with my buddy Brenden Massa🔸🇺🇸🔹 but it makes it a little sweeter to get a win.

Absolute bruiser of a short stocky fish to kick off our year❤️

Yearly reminder to leave those bed fish alone in the coming weeks. Let em do their thing. I promise there are always fish to be caught elsewhere. Have a great season all!

Throwing it back to one of my favorite fish from the last 5 years… blind in one eye but had no issue tracking my bait down. It’s remarkable how these fish can still grow to such astounding size (6.67 lbs x 22”) even with an issue as significant as this.

Mid summer fish too. How special❤️

Mixing bronze and silver is far from normal but I’ll never complain getting dragged around by either of these powerful Great Lakes creatures.. even better when it’s on the same day.
