Congratulations to Christina Marks and Adiel Sanchez for winning the $50 gift certificates that I definitely haven't gone out and gotten yet. Baby steps. WIll do another giveaway at 5,000 likes. Will be something was cooler, like a 2 night stay in a tent in Downing Park or a shopping cart that still says Price Chopper on it. Get us to 5,000 likes to find out

With that last sh*t show of a post, we somehow managed to hit the target of 1000 likes on the page. So, as promised, it's free sh*t time. On Friday, I will pick 2 people randomly out of the likes on this page to receive a $50 gift certificate to a local City of Newburgh restaurant. Here's what you have to do- nothing. Nothing at all. Don't message me asking where it's going to be, don't ask me if I'm doing it on random.org (I'm not) This will be the most impromptu, unprofessional free raffle you have ever been a part of. I may rubberband the gift certificate to a brick and throw it at your car. Honestly, I'm not sure yet. But Friday, 2 people will be winning.

This storm has blown most of our street garbage north towards Marlboro. God is good 🙏

Free sh*t time!!!! Get us to 1000 likes and we will be doing a giveaway for (2) $50 gift certificates to a locally owned and operated Newburgh restaurant. Not sure which one yet so drop some suggestions and if you say Billy Joe's you're getting blocked

It's summer of 2021. We have been in quarantine for over a year. Half of the non essentials have been sent to the social distancing camps. They do arts and crafts activities from 8-5 then are let out. State governments shut down all restaurants except 1 per city / town. Newburgh got Billy Joe's. Everyone has had diarrhea since fall of 2020. Toilet paper stocks have never recovered. We all get paid in toilet paper and Billy Joe's, creating a vicious cycle of government dependence. High Chancellor Cuomo rides up and down the Hudson on the River Rose with his armed wave runner gang from Walden and the parts of upstate that fly Confederate flags. There is seemingly no end to the madness in sight.

After a multi year study by the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers, we finally know how Washington Lake got polluted. Water apparently runs downhill. A comprehensive plan to fix this issue should take only about 10-20 years to fix.

Another serious post and another tough morning for our city. 2020 had not been kind. It has pushed many of us to our breaking point. Last night, an officer involved shooting occured leaving a local City of Newburgh resident dead, multiple officers injured, and subsequently, a series of small demonstrations leading to the lockdown of St Luke's Hospital and eventually, the calling of Orange County SWAT to break it all up. Luckily, it seems as if though there were no more injuries reported after last night, which is a huge Godsend, no matter which side of the fence you find yourself on. All I can say is this is the last kind of behavior we need right now. We are at a critical moment in history which is calling us to come together as a community, yet we are taking steps in the opposite direction causing a massive rift in our small city. I don't know how to fix what happened, how to mend relations between civilians and the establishment, how to restore our city to her former grandeur, but I can tell you one thing- this ain't it

Stay safe friends

Day 1 of Quarantine- I'm going to be productive and use this time to enrich myself by reading books and learning

Day 9 of Quarantine- I can't believe that bitch Carole killed her husband

Guys, be sure to keep an eye out for the City of Newburgh street sweeper. We didn't even know we had this.

Guys, be sure to keep an eye out for the City of Newburgh street sweeper. We didn't even know we had this.

Please continue to follow rules for alternate side of the street parking. These rules remain in full effect as street sweeping continues as usual.

Street sweeping doesn’t just make our streets look neat and clean. The process is a critical part of infrastructure maintenance. Street sweeping prevents accumulation of particles and debris that can obstruct storm water facilities, resulting in localized street flooding during heavy rains. The process also collects small particles and other pollutants that might otherwise travel into nearby waterways through the storm water collection system.

There are easy ways to streamline street sweeping for our Public Works staff:
-Move vehicles off the street during the times/days posted on the signs
-Avoid sweeping leaves and sidewalk debris into the street
-Keep the curb area free from obstacles such as trash cans and basketball hoops
-Keep all hedges and vegetation trimmed behind the curb
-Use caution when driving near a street sweeper

We need your help to get this done!

Please do not pick up any trash, that is the job of the city and we will get to it when we feel like it

02/19/2020

After much debate, we have decided to turn all the businesses on Liberty Street into one long, continuous Billy Joe's. Barbeque sauce will be an additional charge.

Today I drove through the city of Newburgh to the cemetery to pay respects to my dad for Thanksgiving. Driving down Broadway I couldn't help but stop and take pictures of the landfill located at the Family Dollar store. What in God's name has the city of Newburgh come to. Do the city officials even care how the city looks? Perhaps they need to hire more code enforcement officers or perhaps retrain the ones they have to enforce a mess like this. Come on city residence you can do better than this... crank up the heat on City Hall this is disgusting.

When this PARK see very well🤔🤔🤔🤔
PEOPLE of Newburgh: you better wake up before this City turns into another Detroit (a city taken over by criminals). Because I seriously believe we are headed in that direction. Here are the reaons: (1) The city of Newburgh layed of 15 police officers plus 10 more resigned / retired and moved on. (2) Bail reform laws are putting criminals back on the street and increasing more criminal activity because there is NO jail time. (3) con-man Omari inciting criminal behavior by setting a bad example and leading the young adults in the wrong direction. (4) Investors are now backing out of investing in Newburgh and turning to other places. Many current investors have already sold and are in the process of selling. (5) The City Council is dysfunctional. They are clearly NOT in control of anything ( city is on the edge of bankruptcy and street criminals are about to take over).
