About Rise & Reset

My name is Lisa, and I know what it means to start over.

Not in theory.

In real life.

I am almost eight years sober. I rebuilt my life once through recovery — learning how to face myself, heal, and create a future I never thought was possible.

Then life asked me to rebuild again.

I survived a near-fatal car accident that left me with a fractured C6 vertebra in my neck and injuries that changed my life overnight.

Suddenly, I was facing another version of recovery.

Not just physical recovery, but the emotional side nobody talks about enough — the fear, frustration, anxiety, depression, uncertainty, and the question:

“Who am I now?”

I created Rise & Reset because I understand what it feels like when life doesn’t go according to the plan.

I know what it feels like to lose pieces of yourself and slowly find them again.

Through mindfulness, reflection, photography, and small daily steps, I learned that rebuilding doesn’t happen all at once.

It happens in quiet moments.

One choice.

One breath.

One reset at a time.

Rise & Reset is for anyone starting over — from addiction, trauma, burnout, loss, change, or simply a chapter of life they never expected.

I’m not here because I avoided hard things.

I’m here because I survived them.

And I believe we can rebuild.
