CREST is an online independent surf and style magazine started by Newport Beach teens for teens with an emphasis on beach culture, music, fashion, and art. For just over a year now, founders Courtney Garkani and Amanda Penna have worked effortlessly to provide an exciting forum for youth culture and artistry through showcases on various aspects of the site and their social media counterparts. t is the highest point, or maxium value of a wave, and we want to provide viewers with just that, the maximum value. CREST is also an acronym for the five main sections of the site, CULTURE, RESOURCE, ENTERTAINMENT, STYLE, & TELL. The 5 sections feature variety of articles, photographs, videos, and various other mediums by over forty different teenage and young adult contributors. Although the site releases a surplus of articles on a specific date each month, much like an actual magazine, Crest is always continuously updated with new content to keep viewers always comign back for more. FRIENDS, READERS, & ANYONE RANDOM WHO HAS COME ACROSS THIS SITE:

It is both in my sadness and excitement to announce that we have released our last issue (back in April). However in mutual agreement we have decided to keep the site running as an archive for old works and a collection of all the best. So why end Crest, you ask? Well, we put up this creation as high schoolers aiming at an audience consisting of high schoolers. Naturally as most of our staff graduated on (myself included) it only seemed with best reason this was the way to go. Ah, but fret no more because for now and forever enjoy Crest's newest creation: THE ARCHIVE.
