Prayers going up for Michael and Patty!

A MESSAGE OF SUPPORT FOR MICHAEL & PATTY BERRYMAN

We wanted to take a moment to share something with the 8 Lug Circus and SC Horror Convention families.

Our friend and this year’s SC Horror Convention headliner, Michael Berryman, and his wife, Patty, experienced a devastating house fire this past Monday, and lost everything!

Michael and Patty have been wonderful friends to the horror community, and during this incredibly difficult time, we’d like to return some of the kindness and positivity they have shown to so many others over the years.

Michael is scheduled to be with us at South Carolina Horror Convention this weekend, and we encourage everyone who has the opportunity to stop by his table, say hello, share some words of encouragement, and let him know that the horror community is thinking about both him and Patty.

Sometimes a kind word, a handshake, a hug, or simply knowing that people care can mean more than we realize.

We are incredibly grateful that Michael will be spending the weekend with us, especially during such a difficult time for him and his family.

The costume contest!!! Twisted Dandy won, who happens to be my daughter (the big rainbow flower looking one). To be clear, I didn't judge. I played the background music, which I had 5 minutes to pick something to go along with the theme. The music playing was actually an accident, but it was perfect, because it was the extended version and it was quirky sounding, so it worked out!
