The first season of EESN has officially come to a close following the Eagles’ season-ending loss to Effingham.

What a ride it has been. From our first broadcast at Shelbyville to our final game today at Effingham. All of this couldn’t have gotten done without the support of NCHS Administrators , coaches,parents,fans,our faithful followers and our great sponsors!

While this season may be over, EESN isn’t going anywhere. We’re already looking forward to next year and continuing to grow our coverage of Newton Eagles athletics.

Thank you for making our first season a success. Stay tuned, we’re just getting started!

Eagles advance in post season play in a 7-0 win over a solid Robinson team. The Eagles bats came alive with 10 hits in the game scoring 7 runs. C.Barthleme pitched a 7 inning complete game, kept his pitch count low and worked with great confidence.

Hitting wise they were led at the plate by D.Batzell 3-4 1RBI - D. Wolf 2-3 RBI - Q. Fulton 2-4 RBI - M. Horner 2-4

The Eagles will be back to Effingham Saturday to play the winner of Olney and Effingham. We will have the broadcast for you on EESN YouTube! As always thanks to our followers and our sponsors!
