It’s SO much deeper than ā€œjust doing videoā€

It’s allowing businesses to truly and unapologetically express themselves SO THAT they stand out in the market place through video.

We’re taking on 1 more Video Vault client for November - video content for IG/TiktokšŸŽ„

Allow me to INTRODUCE myself āļø It’s been a hot minute, and a bunch of new followers, so without further-a-do, this is my story.

This is where I came from, and why I care so much about what I do.

Authenticity is the biggest thing that is lacking in the video world. Boring, not-connecting, corporate-y videos.

The world needs to know you.

The world needs to know your story.

I KNOW it can be scary, I’ve BEEN there.

I’ve had to overcome a lot of limiting beliefs before showing up on my cheerleading YouTube, and I had to overcome a lot of limiting beliefs to show up as myself a Video Strategist for my video production business now.

I had to overcome caring what people thought for my cheerleading YouTube channel.

I had to overcome all perceptions and beliefs I had around a female business owner for my own business’ videos.

I had to accept that my personality has nothing to do with how great my service is, it sets me apart, it helps me connect. When I thought business had to be this professional thing.

I thought I wouldn’t be understood or taken seriously… I thought WRONGšŸ˜‚ completely.

And that’s why I find this work so fulfilling. It’s way bigger than video.

It’s allowing people to step into who they are and SHARE it with the world.

How powerful is that?!

And on the other side of your comfort zone, is everything you can ever imagine. Just by being you.

The world deserves to know you.

This is for my peeps out there who get most of their business from Instagram āš”ļøšŸ“²

1. Trendy reels for discovery & reach. That’s basically all that it’s good for, not really connection based - it can be, but you need to be a little more strategic with these by inserting facts or humor.

2. Talking reels (under 60 seconds) to build authority & trust in a concise manner. Can also be connection-based.

3. Long-form video (over 1 minute) to build connection, build relationships, show your personality more, attract the right type of client, and of course, build trust. Long-form let’s you talk more freely, show more realness & personality than concise, short-form video. It’s a huge connection-builder.

The main basis behind every buying decision is: Do I TRUST them enough to purchase?

And so almost every piece of content you have should be sustaining that fact.

On the other hand, we also buy from people we know & like, so showing up as yourself not only attracts the RIGHT type of client, but also connects you enough to know the process will also be fun, that you care, that they are well taken care of, etc.

āš ļøWe buy both emotionally (connection) and rationally (trust). āš ļø So a lot of times it’s a balancing act between these two types of content!

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Video isn’t going anywhere… 🤌✨ and it’s never too late to get started for your business.

The value of video means
āš”ļøMore sales
āš”ļøStanding out
āš”ļøHelping your audience
āš”ļøBeing relevant in your industry
āš”ļøBuild a human connection where people feel like they know you before you even meet

There are so many uses for video as well that can solve problems within your business. ā˜ļøSocial media brand building
ā˜ļø converting people on your website
ā˜ļø using video within your sales process
ā˜ļø automate processes or questions you repeat over and over again
ā˜ļø having a video that explains who you are… the list goes on.

It provides an experience that photos just can’t touch.

If you're a Philly business, and you're dying for some quality video content, let me know!

MY HISTORY + CAREER JOURNEY šŸ“˜šŸ“— They say your aligned career path involves the things you were interested in as a child/teen… for me, it was psychology, video, and business.

It took me a bit to realize but I was always a child entrepreneur… I remember at 13 making cheer bows for 2 hours each to sell them for $10 each with ribbon and a hot glue gun šŸ˜‚

I originally majored in psychology in college, wanting to be some sort of therapist. I just love the way people think and what makes people do what they do. This now translates into how I interview people and how I create content with the human mind in mind.

I eventually decided I didn’t want my masters in psychology, and switched my major to Video Production, as I started creating videos when i was around 13.

I had absolutely NO CLUE what I wanted to do with it at that time or if there was even a good career in it. I just knew I was good at it, and I had a youtube channel with 50,000 subscribers at that time. I did news broadcasting, sports news… to find out I hated itšŸ˜‚ I was like ā€œOkay so I guess I just stand here with this big ass camera for tv and get told what to do OR I have to film weddings???ā€ I didn’t like either… 🤣

YouTube developed my marketing mindset and interest- which makes sense… marketing IS psychology.

In 2017, I then would end up with my first full-time position with as their first Video Specialist. I fell in LOVE with marketing all of their departments for 3 years. It was my dream job at that time. I got featured in 2 magazines, launched so many new things with video, and grew tremendously. I’m no longer full-time there but I work with them on a weekly basis to support campaigns through video.

My business allows me to tap into my 4 biggest interests as a child:
ā˜ļø Psychology
ā˜ļø Video production
ā˜ļø Business
ā˜ļø Creating my own content

What were you interested in as a child? and do you still tap into those today through your hobbies or career? Comment below!!

OBJECTIONS… šŸ•ŗšŸ¼ Let’s talk about it. Within your video content, & strategy you need to make sure you put yourself in your clients shoes of someone wanting to buy your product or service.

But Linds, won’t I turn people away if I address these objections? 🚨

And I’ll tell you this… if anything it’s more reassuring to know what you can do to help them have the best results, product, service, experience, etc.

This is information they will need to know regardless, do you want them surprised? Quit thinking it’s taboo to talk about when in actuality, it builds TRUST. šŸ¤

PROMPT ā˜ļø
Here are some things to think about in your own business:
- What makes people scared or skeptical about your product or service?
- How much money or time will I invest?
- What does the process actually look like? The good, the bad, and the ugly
- What would make someone have hesitation about my product or service?
- Are there any risks?

Write down every objection you’ve ever gotten, and you will start to see where you can fill the gaps.

DM me if you’re absolutely ready to have video for your business + have fun while doing it šŸŽ„šŸ•ŗšŸ¼

If you’re thinking about using video JUST for social media... you might have the wrong idea - and this is why āœØšŸŽ„

Video is a tool to automate yourself at any time. Every business is different and requires a different video strategy depending on where their audiences are, how their customers find them, how a video might fit into their sales process and so on.

Video can practically solve almost any problem, it’s just knowing how to use it effectively, and that’s where we come in 🄳

It’s important to do the RIGHT video for the RIGHT goal… šŸ˜…

A lot of times, businesses THINK they need a certain type of video, when they need something completely different to execute that goal.

This is what we do.

We work together to figure out the highest pulling lever video or videos to accomplish your goal, or solve a certain problem.

For this party video, talking about what the party offers and all that jazz would not be as shareable as a mashup that shows the event and atmosphere. 🌼This video promo for the event now has over 320+ shares….🌼

It’s knowing WHICH video to do in the first place that is the hardest, and most underrated part of the video industry. And that’s where a lot of videographers go wrong.

DM us to set up a call to figure out what video would be best for your business.

We are currently booked out for July + August 🄳
