We at Chair 10 Productions have some exciting news to share! Building on top of our 2024 successes working with producers Mark Burg and Bob Yari, we are now expanding our production services into New York’s Hudson Valley with our new Hudson Valley Filming Initiative.

The Lower and Mid Hudson Valley boasts the perfect mix of proximity to the city, stunning locations, Class A soundstages and the best tax credit in the country.

With a base credit of 30%, productions can earn boosts for filming outside the NYC Thirty-Mile-Zone and a “production plus” bonus for multiple productions in a calendar year, up to 50%.

Chair 10 offers access to premier vendors and the best crew in the region, with a union crew base over 2700 deep. Our team provides soup-to-nuts, white glove production services, from breakdowns and budgets, through production and post-production, to facilitating the return of the tax credit. With more than 50 years combined experience producing and providing services to films and TV shows, a National Signatory Term Deal with IATSE and a Term Deal with Teamsters, our team is able to support your productions with top-notch production services.

Scenes for the thriller movie "The Monster" were shot in an alleyway on New Milford's Bank Street. Danbury, Newtown and New Haven are other filming locations.
