When displaced families sought refuge at the Ark of the New Testament evangelical church in Kenscoff, they hoped holy ground would protect them. Instead, on August 23, the Viv Ansanm gang stormed the building without mercy. Forty-seven people lost their lives in the assault, with twenty-two slaughtered directly within the sanctuary—five of them children. Neighborhood homes were set ablaze, and more than 50 believers were abducted into captivity. Please pause tonight and remember Haiti's courageous, suffering church in your prayers.

The legal tide is finally shifting back toward families. Following the Supreme Court's clear reminder in Mirabelli v. Bonta that primary authority belongs to mothers and fathers, the 9th Circuit declared California's gender secrecy policies likely unconstitutional. Now, the Department of Education is actively holding school districts accountable for hiding crucial information from parents. Do you see this as a permanent turning point for parental rights?

Moms for Liberty took a New Jersey school district to federal court after discovering staff were quietly transitioning students behind their families' backs. The legal filing targets state directives telling administrators to validate a child's chosen gender identity without needing parental consent or knowledge. Are parents supposed to just sit back while public schools cut them out of their own kids' lives?

A woman facing an empty pantry dropped to her knees and asked God for help with her groceries. Hearing about her prayer, an outspoken skeptic decided to deliver bags of food to her doorstep—purely to mock her faith. But when she opened the door to a porch full of supplies, she didn't get flustered or defensive. She simply looked at the full bags and declared that when God gives an order, even the devil obeys. It turns out human cynicism is no match for divine providence.

In a Provo, Utah court on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Judge Tony Graf ordered that Tyler Robinson will go to trial on all seven counts tied to Charlie Kirk's assassination, including aggravated murder. Defense lawyers entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf, as state prosecutors made clear they are pursuing capital punishment. The Kirk family released a statement calling the decision a crucial milestone toward true justice. A formal court date has not been assigned, but we continue to ask for prayers for Erika Kirk and her two young children.

When federal officers detained five members of a California church—including asylum-seeking Iranian converts—Pastor Ara Torosian voiced deep concern. The minister, who escaped religious persecution himself, pointed out that leaving Islam carries the death penalty in Iran. Seeing these actions unfold here, he admitted it felt unsettlingly similar to the oppressive environment he fled. He remains convinced that most American Christians want to protect converts facing grave danger back home rather than export them back. Do you think current enforcement policy actually gets this right?

While most major headlines completely ignore it, believers in Nigeria are paying the ultimate price for their faith. Pastor Hills Emmanuel's life was tragically cut short in Plateau State shortly after being abducted alongside a fellow clergyman. The incident occurred as Pastor Emmanuel and Pastor Gabriel Joseph Dipak were driving from Jos down to Bokkos. Armed attackers forced their minivan to a halt on the highway between Barkin Ladi and Bokkos. A total of nine travelers were inside the vehicle. The gunmen dragged both ministers away, taking the other seven passengers' money and mobile devices before letting them go. By Saturday morning, local residents located Pastor Emmanuel’s lifeless body close to the abduction site. Before establishing The Wonderful Grace of God Evangelical Ministry in Bokkos, he previously pastored at Dunamis. Meanwhile, Pastor Dipak is still being held captive, with his abductors reaching out to his family. This terrible loss comes during a broader wave of deadly attacks hitting communities across Plateau State. Hebrews 13:3 calls on us to remember those undergoing mistreatment as though we were enduring it ourselves. Let's make sure our churches don't stay silent—please keep Pastor Emmanuel's family, Pastor Dipak, and our Nigerian brothers and sisters in your earnest prayers.

You can’t make this up. Fourteen-year-old Jory Thomas was out camping with his family close to Greycliff, Montana, when desperate yells cut through the roar of the swift Yellowstone River after a boating disaster. The young man snatched up his lasso without a second thought. He had been putting in heavy work on a practice dummy back at his family's property, but this was no drill. Jory flung his line into the swift current and lassoed the helpless swimmer on his initial try, hauling him safely back to shore. First responders and local officials later formally commended the teen for his quick actions and grit under pressure. Some folks think old-fashioned ranch skills are a relic of the past, but try telling that to the man who got a second chance at life.

So let's talk about what happens when public adoration clashes with biblical clarity. A woman named Natalie Jean Beisner—who describes herself as an "ex-Democrat turned sane person"—recently set social media buzzing on X after calling out the fuzzy theology surrounding beloved country icon Dolly Parton. Beisner made it clear she appreciates Parton’s legendary philanthropy, but she refused to ignore what Parton has publicly claimed about faith. Specifically, Parton’s comments that everybody finds "their own path to God," whether someone chooses to label Him as "science, nature, energy—whatever works for you." As Beisner pointed out, that isn't scripture; that's textbook universalism. Christ didn't declare Himself to be merely one option among many—He proclaimed Himself as THE only way to the Father. The core issue Beisner highlighted is a widespread weakness in modern Christianity: believers are so petrified of being labeled judgmental or intolerant that they mistake secular niceness for genuine Christian love. But true love never conceals reality just to protect feelings. Popularity doesn't transform a lie into truth, just as intense cultural backlash cannot render the Gospel false. While Beisner emphasized that only God knows any individual's final spiritual state and prayed for Parton's heart, she reminded believers that affection for a celebrity should never dictate our theology. At the end of the day, scripture is clear that God evaluates the human heart rather than outward applause (1 Samuel 16:7), and anyone coming to Christ becomes an entirely new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). But we cannot trade divine truth for warm sentimentality.

So let me get this straight: a mother in Maine is legally forbidden from reading the Bible to her own daughter or taking her to an Easter service, simply because the father doesn't care for Christian teachings? For almost two full years now, Emily Bickford has been bound by a court order that bans her from bringing her 13-year-old child to church, attending Sunday school, or opening a Bible together at home. And when she challenged this glaring constitutional overreach, the Maine Supreme Court unanimously backed the prohibition, casting aside First Amendment protections entirely. Think about the precedent that sets. Strip away one parent’s constitutional right to pass along their faith while handing absolute ideological veto power to the other... and suddenly religious freedom is subject to state-enforced censorship in a child's own home. Liberty Counsel and its founder, Mat Staver, are stepping in to petition the United States Supreme Court to overturn this decision before it damages parental rights nationwide. Keep Emily and her daughter in your prayers as this battle heads to the highest court in the land, and pray that even the girl's father comes to know the peace of Christ.
