📣The market will be open FRIDAY Sept 25 and SATURDAY Sept 26 from 9AM to 4PM. Inside our air conditioned barn.

📣We will also host Rockford P.E.O. Chapter ED for a Pop-Up Home Decor Shop in our parking lot. They'll have hand picked and handmade home decor for sale with proceeds benefitting local women's scholarships. (Check the event discussion board for some early sneak peeks!)

🚗PLUS we are a stop on the 10th Annual Market Trail. Grab some friends and make a day of shopping hopping across North Iowa from Nora Springs to Forest City.

It's going to be a fun weekend!

🧀World Dairy Expo winning cheese curds?!🧀

Can vouch, they earned it! Fresh delivery coming Friday! 😋

🏆 Another one for the trophy case!

Our White Cheddar Cheese Curds came home winners at the World Dairy Expo this past week.

We’re pretty excited for this one. From the cows to the creamery, a lot of work goes into making cheese we’re proud to put our name on.

This award season has been good to us, time to make room for another trophy!

Yesterday was an exciting day! Our big barn got some TLC.

Four years ago, derecho-style straight line winds took out one of the cupolas and damaged a few points on the roof. After lots of searching, we weren't able to find a used matching cupola for the pair. Luckily a crew in Pennsylvania was able to hand make a pair similar to the style on the original barn and ship them here to Iowa.

I have special love for this old barn. It's so great to see her shined up a bit!

It’s been a minute since I’ve brought you along on pasture checks! Our summer calving season is wrapped up and fall calving season is well underway. We’ve welcomed two sets of twins and have been enjoying well-paced rain showers to keep the pasture grass growing. (Here’s a mashup of clips from the season so far!)

I’m in this pasture today to fill up mineral feeders and check on overall well-being. But my family would tell you I take waaaay longer to do this task than needed. Can’t help it. There’s no more peaceful place than the quiet of a lush pasture filled with black cattle. ❤
