Starting with your July 2022 issue, the magazine you and your neighbors know and love, East Beach Living became Stroll East Beach. Across the nation, homeowners like you will be connected in the experience of living in a Stroll-worthy neighborhood. Stroll East Beach is exclusive to the East Beach, Bay Breeze Point, and Bay Point communities "Delivering Neighborhood Connections" through sharing resident stories, photos, and happenings you’ve come to expect and enjoy. Through hyper-local, resident-submitted content, we create an avenue for these individuals to get to know local organizations, businesses, and their neighbors on a more personal level. Along with our print medium, we also provide digital avenues on which our residents can connect. The final component which makes us unique is the many events that we organize. Local restaurants, spas, salons, and more share their products and services in order to garner a face-to-face relationship with the residents of East Beach, Bay Breeze Point, and Bay Point in Norfolk, VA. There is no better way for a business to secure long-term success than to make the right connections.

Meet Kristin and Mike Williams, whose journey from Texas A&M eventually brought them to a new chapter in East Beach. 🌅

Kristin brings celebrations to life through Card My Yard, while Mike is a urologic oncologist and residency program director at EVMS. 🩺

With daughters Alexa and Ashlyn building lives of their own, Kristin and Mike are embracing this season through travel, family traditions, and new adventures. ❤️

Bunco, book clubs, poker nights, neighborhood gatherings, and sunset strolls have helped them quickly feel at home. 🏡

The Church of the Advent food pantry serves approximately 650 Ocean View households each month, while its clothing closet helps families access essentials like school attire and winter coats. 🥫

It is a powerful reminder of the caring community spirit shared throughout Ocean View and East Beach. 🌊

A beloved neighborhood tradition brought families, friends, and neighbors together once again as East Beach celebrated America 250 in style. 🇺🇸

After the parade, the festivities continued at Pavilion Park with hot dogs, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, watermelon, desserts, games, and the annual baking contest. 🍉

From New York to Norfolk, Andre Maloy’s journey has been filled with unexpected chapters and meaningful connections. 🌊

His path included modeling, the airline industry, and years devoted to caring for his mother before the dream of returning to Virginia finally became reality. ✨

Now Andre enjoys long walks along the beach, serving through his church, reading, listening to music, and becoming part of the East Beach community he had admired for years. 🏡
