Even the strongest walls can't make life predictable. That's why the picture of God's wings touches me so deeply. His shelter means more than protection from what's around me. It's the beautiful assurance that I can draw close to Him, and tonight, I don't take that blessing lightly.

All the plans in the world couldn't have promised me this Monday morning. I've asked God for plenty over the years, and I don't want my requests to speak louder than my gratitude. Just being here to call on His name is a blessing I refuse to take for granted.

I've lived long enough to know my faith doesn't give me the right to stand at Heaven's door deciding who belongs. I can stand firm in what I believe and still treat people with love and humility. Praying for you is better for us both. Calling you out on social media is nonsense.

I've caught myself trying to sound brave even in my own thoughts. That's exhausting. Prayer gives me a place to admit I'm afraid without trying to fix the feeling first. I can trust God with the truth, even when I haven't found my courage yet.

God doesn't become greater when I praise Him. That truth humbles me in a way I can't quite explain. My words could never add to His majesty, but they can express how deeply grateful I am to know the King He has always been.

It still amazes me that a God so holy and powerful knows me personally. His greatness humbles me, but His loving nature makes it possible for me to come to Him with an open heart. That closeness is something I will always treasure.

It touches my heart to realize how much God knows about me without needing an explanation. Even when my prayers fall short, His love gives me so much to be thankful for. And that makes me want to draw even closer to Him.
