✔ Forage for lost pacifiers, socks, and my will to function.
✔ Prepare rations (aka a meal they’ll refuse to eat).

Meanwhile, my husband? Still choosing his spells for the day.

DM: “Roll for patience.”
Me: Natural 20 “Fine, but I’m adding an extra shot of espresso.”

Motherhood isn’t just a campaign—it’s a never-ending dungeon crawl, and I’m running it on homebrew rules.

I put the One Ring on this morning to hide from my kids… but apparently, it doesn’t work on toddlers because they still found me in the pantry.

Tried using the Force to get my coffee to levitate to me. Instead, I just stared at it like a sleep-deprived Sith Lord until I finally gave in and walked over.

And as I step outside to grab the mail in my pajamas, one thing is certain… Winter is Coming—and by that, I mean my kids left the door open again, and now my house is colder than the Wall.

Send reinforcements (or at least coffee). Motherhood is an adventure, but I could really use a save point right about now.
