By God, I can even see behind my back:
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to see as if it were daylight even in the darkest night. Once he said to his companions: Do you see me facing the Qiblah here? By Allah! Your humility, bowing and prostration are never hidden from me. I see you even behind my back.
Therefore, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to look at those in the back rows in prayer as if they were in front of him. It is narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led us in prayer, then he ascended the pulpit and said:
"Just as I see you in front of me, I also see you behind me in prayer and bowing."
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw angels and demons. On the morning of the night of the Ascension, he saw the Holy Land in front of the Quraysh in Mecca and described its condition. He saw the Kaaba from Medina during the construction of the Prophet's Mosque, he saw Hazrat Ja'far Tayyar flying with angels in Paradise after his martyrdom, and while digging a trench in the Battle of the Parties, he saw the red palaces of Syria, the white palace of Kisra and the gates of Sana'a.
Similarly, in the Battle of Mu'tah, when Hazrat Zaid bin Harith, Hazrat Ja'far bin Abi Talib and Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawaha were martyred one after the other while fighting with great bravery, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sitting in Medina and was witnessing these events with his own eyes and narrating them.
