MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!

I hope everyone remembers the true meaning of Christmas and the actual reason it exists.

Also, the gifts and such are fun, but they are not what it’s all about. Don’t go broke buying the gifts! 😂 Grab a few good games and play with the family. Those are the memories that everyone will remember. I worked in an elementary for 13 yrs. I did a lot of love language quizzes on kids during this time. I can tell you most of the kids longed for quality time!

Enjoy family, friends, church, pets, etc…. the next few days. Try to unplug and reset. Take a moment to “BE STILL”
God is good! 🙏🥰☀️

Sometimes around the holidays things can get a tad stressful, fast paced and overwhelming. There are a few scriptures I try to remind myself of and thought I’d share.

Matthew 6:34 “therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

I say this to myself often. “BE STILL” 🙏💙☀️

This melted my heart today at the World Championship WRCA Ranch Rodeo. You see all the young kids? They stand there to give the cowboys high-fives as they come in and out of the arena during the national anthem and prayer. When I looked down at them to see them all with their caps or cowboy hats off and across their hearts, it melted me. A lot of people say, “oh, these kids today………” Then, usually something negative. I say, “These kids today are going to be just fine.”
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

How do you know when it’s time to go home and stay home?

I went to Best Buy to exchange a small 5 lb sound bar mount that I bought to put on a 65” tv. I carry it to the counter, and the kid working tells me to go get what I need. I come back with a stinking 50 lb tv mount for a 65” tv. The price difference was about $150 dollars. I said, “Oh my! Why is this so much more expensive?” He said, “Well, did you want this tv mount or a sound bar mount?” Ooohhh…. Oopsy and duh! I said, “Sorry, you’re right. I meant to get a sound bar mount. Brain toot! Do I need to carry this back over there bc it’s really heavy?!” He was nice enough to let me leave the wall mount at the counter for him to return to the shelf. 😬

I left Best Buy and headed to Sam’s. I was walking into the store when I realized I didn’t have my lil’ card holder in my purse. I panicked! I patted down my pockets, dug in my purse, went back to the car to tear it apart. Patted myself down, again! Emptied my purse! Last place I had it? Best Buy! I take my phone out of my front pocket and get back into the car to go back to Best Buy. Hmm… I was sitting on something hard in my back pocket. My phone was in my hand. I raise up to pull out my card holder! What in the world?!? I patted myself down… TWICE! It just appeared like magic?!? Maybe I just thought I was feeling my phone every time I patted myself down and didn’t realize I had two pockets with something hard in them?? Also, why did I even put it in my pocket and not back in my purse?? Weird! I have no clue at this point. I kinda laugh off my TWO brain t***s and head into Sam’s.

I go to Sam’s to buy folding chairs. I put 4 fold up chairs in my basket and check out. As I’m walking out I’m looking at my receipt. Y’all!! I hammer a lady in the head with the chairs that are sticking out!!! 😳 I about died! She rubbed her head, I rubbed her head! Now that I think about it, that was probably weird to her that I was rubbing her head! 🤦‍♀️ I apologized profusely!
And, this my friends is when I knew!! Time to go home and stay! 😵‍💫☀️

Oh, and I had a sock attached to the velcro on the sleeve of my jacket today. My son noticed it while we were at a restaurant eating lunch. 🤷‍♀️😂
