RECENT PROJECT: Logo design for Brown University Health and Bradley Hospital

The “Free the Future” conference logo was designed to visually represent the intersection of adolescent mental health, neuroscience, research, and hope for the future. The central silhouette of a young person, combined with an illustration of the brain, emphasizes the importance of understanding and supporting the developing adolescent mind.

The surrounding circular typography creates a sense of community and collaboration, reinforcing the conference theme of “Integrating Research, Practice and Community.” The circular form also suggests connection and continuity, reflecting the goal of bringing researchers, clinicians, educators, families, and community partners together. The teal and blue color scheme adheres to established Brown University Health branding guidelines.

I recently had the opportunity to work with a long-time ESD client to refresh their logo, giving it a more contemporary and visually engaging appearance while preserving the brand recognition they’ve built over the years.

The update focused on modernizing the typography by transitioning to a clean sans-serif typeface while maintaining the existing color palette. Although the changes are subtle, they create a stronger visual impact, resulting in a cleaner, more versatile logo that performs well across both digital and print platforms.

Vintage-Inspired Baby Shower Card Collection

I recently designed this collection of 6x6 inch baby shower cards for a long time client of mine to capture the warmth, nostalgia, and gentle charm of classic childhood storytelling. Each card features a thoughtfully selected quote from beloved children’s literature, paired with a soft, vintage-inspired background and delicate typography. These be used as table decorations for the shower, as well as potentially being framed to hang in a nursery. The full set works together as a cohesive collection.

This was a very fun project to work on with someone who has been a client of mine for a number of years as she gets ready to welcome her first grandchild! I was honored to be asked.
