Good afternoon Dirty 330! I hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day!

A little over 2 years ago, a HUGE announcement was made stating Donnie Boyer was buying “MAJORITY OWNERSHIP” of Town Tavern in Green. The announcement was greeted with tons of support. Everyone’s favorite bar owner and renowned family man was taking control after months of scrutiny and bad publicity. Things were certain to change, but it would take time to become full circle.

Donnie himself even posted on his social media that it takes several months, or up to a year for the liquor license and LLC license to transfer. Once that was completed, everyone would see.

When WKYC Channel 3 - Cleveland did a story regarding my lawsuit with Town Tavern, Donnie called them out for not listing him as the owner.

A few months later, Donnie went before the City Council in Green as well as the mayor in order to get approval to have the liquor license transferred without it having to go to a vote in the upcoming election. He once again stated he was “MAJORITY OWNER”. He also stated, as he had many times in the past, that James House has nothing to do with Town Tavern in Green.

Fast forward to now. Over 2 years later. The liquor license transferred over a year ago. When reported to the state of Ohio, by the “owners”, Donnie is listed as 10% owner.

10 PERCENT. I’m not a mathematician, but last time I checked, 10% is not majority ownership of anything. Daniel Yano is 85% owner. 85% is far greater than 10%. Prior to this, James House owned 100%. Yano is James longtime partner and best friend.

Suddenly it’s reported that Yano owns 85%? But James has nothing to do with it anymore, and Donnie is “MAJORITY OWNER” ?

The LLC license through the state of Ohio has not had a single change filed. James House’s girlfriend is in photos promoting Town Tavern of Green. Who allows that when they have “absolutely nothing to do with it”?

Why is Donnie in photos on the Town Tavern page promoting donations to charity from Town Tavern, with James House’s longtime friend and roommate JEFFRO? (Sweet name by the way)

They have no relationship though. Donnie is a great family man per so many. The defenders are endless, including the Mayor of Green. I spoke with the mayor, and he assured me it takes time for these things, Donnie is a great family man and he has people that have been in there, everything passes the “sniff test”.

10% owner.

Great family man that brags to everyone about his 26yr old girlfriend that is one of his employees……

He may have been a great guy when it was Legends. He may have been a great guy when he had Picks.

Now he has become exactly what his “partners” are, and they think they can do and say whatever they want, and get away with it because of who they are.

There is much more to this story, and it runs way deeper. They are ALL tied together, and I will show you how. There will be no doubt. You cannot hide a paper trail.

So next time you go to Town Tavern, enjoy your adult sparklers and know what you are supporting. It’s no different than it was 2 years ago. It might be worse!

Good evening Dirty 330! Happy Labor Day weekend!

Thai weekend marks a huge milestone. The 2yr anniversary of a huge takeover in the Green bar scene that changed the landscape forever!

In honor of this momentous occasion, tomorrow we are going to break that situation, and others, down for the public. We are going to lay it all out there so everyone knows what is really going on!

The corruption RUNS DEEP. Stay tuned. I promise to keep you all aware of the truth. It’s definitely not what it’s been made out to be. Nothing has changed.

Today we have a situation out of Cuyahoga Falls/Stow. This photo was taken at a football game last night from the Walsh Jesuit sideline showing the disrespect to our American flag 🇺🇸.

Do better Walsh, this is unacceptable, whether a private or public school! Our kids need to be taught to honor and respect our country and our flag! This is disgraceful!

Today we have another buyer beware situation, this time out of Cuyahoga Falls/Akron/Stow and surrounding areas.

Meet Shannon Payne of Cuyahoga Falls. Shannon has been selling cars through social media and other avenues that have not been as advertised, as you will see from a couple photos below.

DO NOT BUY FROM SHANNON!!!! Spread the word!

Shannon has been scamming people in the area with used cars for over 20yrs. He has been arrested and convicted of numerous felonies in summit county for fraud, forgery, theft, tampering, etc.. He was the center of a story covered in 2013 by several news outlets due to the use of illegal power of attorney, forging documents, rolling back odometers on vehicles, and selling cars with salvaged titles unbeknownst to the buyers. He even had his wife illegally notarizing things for him.

After all these convictions, time on probation and minimal time in jail, he is still ripping people off with his bootleg vehicles. How this is possible doesn’t even make sense.

He was even a REGISTERED S*X OFFENDER in the past.

Shannon is also using an alias on FB, Shaun Pain, so beware of this person as well. He seems to be selling in the Graham Rd area of Cuyahoga Falls, which is right where he lives.

Let’s spread this info and keep this crook from taking anyone else’s money!!!

Good afternoon Dirty 330! I hope everyone is well!

Today I want to feature the local in-home bakery in North Canton, 531 Sweets. They made an announcement just yesterday stating “We’re Backkkkk!!!”, advertising they are selling baked goods daily on the front porch and encouraging people to “Treat yo’self”. This all after being M.I.A. Since July 13th.

Please let this post serve as a buyer beware to the community of North Canton as well as the surrounding communities.

You see, 531 Sweets is owned and operated by Trisha Smith. Their prior posts confirm this.

It appears Trisha got her hands caught in multiple cookie jars!

Trisha is currently under indictment in Stark County Common Pleas court for multiple felony counts of telecommunications fraud, grand theft, misuse of credit cards, and theft. These charges stem from an investigation done by the North Canton Police Department.

Trisha, as treasurer, was left in charge of the money belonging to the North Canton Cheerleaders Parent’s Association. Between September 2023 and July 2025. During that time, over $66,000 went missing. Trisha stepped down as treasurer at that time, and even texted the varsity coach and apologized for “not keeping very good records”.

Shortly after, in November 2025, the North Canton Police were informed that the Lady Vikings Basketball Booster Club was missing over $7,000 from their funds. Unsurprisingly, Trisha was the youth director of this booster club as well.

Crazy thing is, during this time frame Trisha was having her wages garnished from her employer due to unpaid civil judgements.

Crazy, right?

She will be appearing in court again on Tuesday 9/8/26 for pre-trial.

In the mean time, she is slinging cookies off the front porch while the youth sports programs at issue are trying to recover from losing over $70k that was supposed to help the kids in this community and their programs.

It’s sad. Somebody surely “Treated yo’self” to a whole lot of money.

Let’s hope justice is served, and remember this when you get a hankering for something sweet.

Good afternoon Dirty 330! I hope you are well!

Getting back to the debacle with the Portage County Sheriff, which is now being covered by many local news outlets……

Yesterday, the sheriff’s office issued a public statement defending the actions of the sheriff that were seen in the video. You can see this statement below.

I am not a Will Lane supporter. We have never spoken or interacted. I do feel that some of the things that he does may be over the top. Yes, I know he is a convicted felon.

What I also know is that a quick scan of public records shows that he has not been arrested, indicted, charged or convicted with any crimes for harassment, stalking, threatening or intimidation or anything of the sort in Portage County.

That being said, to justify actions of a public official by emphasizing that Will Lane is a convicted felon and a criminal is absolutely ridiculous. As you will see in the photos, the sheriff himself has posted in the past that he “Has sworn to protect ALL citizens of my county”. He took the oath. He posted it himself.

Does this seem to be protecting ALL citizens of the county? So this doesn’t apply to Will because he is a convicted criminal or felon?

There are likely a lot of convicted criminals and felons in Portage County. Is it allowable for the sheriff to treat them the same way, as long as it is stated that they are criminals or felons?

I don’t back either of these parties. What I do back is people being treated like human beings, and not bullied. That is exactly what this is, and quite possibly on both sides depending on how you look at things.

The sheriff took an oath. Whether on duty or not, you wore the shirt, badge and gun and this is how you represented yourself. He showed no worry of any repercussions, even saying “I hope this makes the news” as if he was proud of his behavior. He directly disrespected a citizen, on camera, and even threatened him. Felon or not, it’s wrong.

If anybody else was wearing a shirt with their company name on it and was filmed talking to someone like that with the company info visible, harassment or not they would not have a job.

Having a badge shouldn’t make anyone exempt from that. No matter what party you support.

Good morning Dirty 330! Happy Monday!

Calling on Akron Public Schools parents and families………..

It seems as if the Akron Public Schools have implemented new policies related to the entry of high school football games.

There is no entry allowed to games after halftime, by anyone. No students or parents.

In addition to this, anyone under the age of 18 that is not a student at either of the schools playing must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

So a parent that has to work cannot go watch their child play if they don’t make it before halftime? A 17yr old cannot go watch their cousin, nephew, boyfriend, etc that goes to an Akron Public School unless their parent brings them to the game?

When asked at a game this Saturday by parents of players that were being denied entry to the Revere vs Garfield game, APS officials told them they “should have been on time”!

Little did they know that they were talking to local attorney Peter Pattakos of The Pattakos Law Firm LLC.

As you will see in the photos of the entire account from Peter Pattakos himself, APS noted they “haven’t had security issues” in the past, but they are being proactive.

So Peter wants to get this straightened out for the community. Put everyone in Akron on the same playing field as all of the surrounding communities that do not have any of these rules.

Good morning Dirty 330! Happy Sunday Funday!

Here is a video of an incident that occurred at the Portage County Fair this weekend involving the Portage County Sheriff, Bruce Zuchowski.

The sheriff department had a building set up at the fair, and Bruce was there with some others from the sheriff’s office. It appears they were promoting and selling merchandise to support Bruce’s campaign fund, which is illegal.

A local citizen has been chronicling the questionable acts by the sheriff over the last several months through his page The Bad Bruce Exhibit.

When confronted at the fair, on camera, the sheriff began making derogatory statements to the man, essentially threatening him multiple times. Puffing his chest out, calling him names and blatantly attempting to intimidate him.

To make matters worse, the sheriff appears to be intoxicated during this exchange. HE HAS HIS GUN ON HIS HIP!!!!!

I’m in full support of law enforcement. This is UNACCEPTABLE. It doesn’t matter what the situation is. This is an elected official, berating and intimidating a man at the fair out in the public. If this was any other elected official, how would this go down? If it was the mayor, the governor, the president talking to a citizen this way?

It doesn’t matter what color, party or political affiliation you have. If you are elected to protect and serve the community as the sheriff, behavior like this in your community is unacceptable.

Someone needs to take notice and do something. This happened at the fair, in front of children. No laws were being broken by the man. So Bruce can just do this because he is the sheriff. That makes it okay?

Hopefully this helps spread awareness. Hopefully someone in Portage County will make this guy face consequences for his actions.

Good morning Dirty 330! I hope you are well!

Let me first say that I have the utmost respect for healthcare workers. We are extremely lucky to have access to the medical treatment and incredible people that we do.

With that being said, I want to address some things that I was a party to and witnessed at the Akron General Cleveland Clinic emergency room on Monday/Tuesday. It was shameful, and hopefully it will lead to discussions that can have a positive effect for patients in the future.

Unfortunately I had to go to the ER on Monday evening due to a critically low blood sugar level. I arrived at Akron General just before 7pm. They checked me in immediately, the waiting room was maybe 25% full.

I was called into a room within 5 minutes and a male nurse took my vitals, recorded my symptoms and they immediately drew blood to run labs. I was then sent back to the waiting room to wait for my lab results.

An hour later, I was called back in to take additional blood for further labs. That took another 5 minutes, then back to the waiting room. At this point, it was 8pm.

We sat and waited for hours. No communication at all. The waiting room kept filing with more people. All of them taken back for vitals and labs upon arrival. Then sitting in the waiting room like the rest of us.

An over-80yr old couple waiting for a CT scan. A woman waiting on a CT scan. Another woman waiting for an x-ray. A woman having chest pains and trouble breathing. This went on for hours. By 12am, there was not a single person that had been called back or seen. People continued showing up.

There were kids literally fighting, beating on each other in the waiting room. People were making beds with blankets and sleeping on the floors. There were patients in wheel chairs with oxygen masks that were told they were being admitted, but they have no empty beds and nowhere to put them. So they just sat in the waiting room to wait.

Not a single hospital staff gave any updates, and when asked they simply stated “we have nowhere to put anyone to have them meet with a doctor and we cannot provide test results”.

This went on all night. Countless people that had been sitting and waiting for hours got up and left as they couldn’t wait any longer. People had to go to work. Kids had to go to school. It was a mess. All because they had “nowhere to put anyone”.

Finally, at 6:15am, I was called in to see a doctor. As I walked to the back, I passed room after room, and they were all EMPTY. How was this even possible? I just sat and waited for almost 12hrs after coming in with a condition that had put me in ICU a few months ago, and there were no patients in any of the rooms I passed that were supposedly “full”?

I was immediately put in a room and hooked up to monitors. Within 10 minutes, a doctor came in the room and told me “your labs are all good, you can go home”. That was it. He was literally in the room for less than 2 minutes, and only because I asked a few questions. He didn’t seem interested in answering any of them.

There was no treatment. No explanations for anything that happened, what caused any of this. Just “your labs are all good, you can go home”. It took 12 hours for someone to tell me that?

I call BS. My labs were made available on MyChart at 10:30am, and they tell a different story. As anyone with MyChart knows, you are bombarded with emails and notifications the second anything is received, including labs. How did a doctor come in and tell me my labs were good and they had been read at 6:15am, however they didn’t show up on MyChart until 10:30am.

I was the first person called back after sitting all night. There were only a handful of us still sitting there, everyone else had left.

Nobody cared. Nobody was being informed of anything. The worst part of all of this?

The hospital charges every single one of those people that came in the moment they were checked in. They are charged for a visit. The vitals being taken immediately locks in more charges, because technically services were provided. It’s SHAMEFUL.

Akron General Cleveland Clinic, you have a lot of explaining to do. To those that were in the waiting room and experienced this as well, I hope you got better results than I did, but I’m guessing you didn’t.

The Cleveland Clinic webpage shows a bold lettered statement saying “We’re here when you need us - for every care in the world”.

They may have been there, and they may be touted as a world-class hospital. Ultimately, they failed the entire room Monday night, and they need to make some changes because human beings don’t deserve that type of treatment.

Good evening Dirty 330! Happy hump day!

Several people have reached out wanting to know what happened to lead to the abrupt closing of popular local bar Springfield Tavern at the end of July.

In doing some research, it seems as if the owner, Brian Mulkey, has gotten himself into a bit of a pickle that coincides with the closing of the bar.

Brian was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after attempting to assault someone at the Sand Bar in May. Per the police report and multiple witness statements, Brian made numerous threats that he was going to kill the other party. The other party defended himself, and held Brian on the ground until the police arrived with Brian yelling multiple times “Let me up and I’ll kill you”. He pled no contest to the charge last week in Barberton Municipal Court.

The other party opted not to press assault charges at the scene, however upon being treated for pain in his hand, it was discovered that he had a broken hand causing him to miss several weeks of work. The victim has since returned to the police to press further charges along with eyewitness accounts, as seen in the attached report.

The victim has also filed a lawsuit against Brian Mulkey in excess of $200,000 for damages, injuries and lost wages. The suit was served to Brian a few days before closing the Springfield Tavern.

This is not Brian’s first run in with the law. He has pled no contest to domestic violence charges in Akron, which he tried to get expunged and/or overturned several years later only to be denied.

He also pled guilty in 2021 to “Operating an Illegal Gambling House”, which was also reported to the Ohio State Gaming Commission.

Brian still owns and operates the Manchester Tavern and was the owner of the Cliffside Key Club until recently.

This definitely doesn’t sound like “different opportunities and new adventures opening up” as the post read announcing the closure!
