The Varsity Girls' Track & Field team finished as conference champions for the third year in a row at Wednesday's conference meet!

Ava Wise- 1st in 1600, 1st in 3200
Briley Clements- 1st in 100, 1st in 200, 2nd in Long Jump
Raelyn Rundle- 1st in 300 Hurdles, 2nd in 100 Hurdles, 2nd in High Jump, 3rd in Pole Vault,
Gwen Sorg- 2nd in 400, 2nd in 800
Avery Beauchamp- 2nd in Pole Vault
Jessie Withrow- 1st in 800, 3rd in 400
Autumn Pearson- 3rd in Discus
Micah Faulkner-4th in 100 Hurdles, 3rd in 100, 3rd in 200, 2nd in 300 Hurdles, 1st in Long Jump, 1st in Triple (High Point Winner of the Meet!)
Sloan Smith- 2nd in 100, 2nd in 200, 1st in 400 While setting a (New School Record in the 400 with a time of 59.30!)

The Varsity Boys' Track & Field team finished 4th in conference:

Karson Everett- 2nd in 100, 3rd in 200
Max Pullen 3rd in 400 Meter
Cooper Collier 2nd in the Mile (Breaking the 5 minute mark with time of 4:57)

Yearbook cover details | 🤩 Meet Briley Koone! He’s a junior in advanced digital mixed media, and he’s also a licensed drone pilot. After turning in some aerial photos for an assignment at the beginning of the year, the yearbook staff brought him into their cover design process. His photo of Mustang Mountain from the air was burnished (burned) on a natural shadow material cover. His photo also won a superior, the highest rating, at the Arkansas Scholastic Press Association’s April convention. In addition, his photo on page 238-239 won an excellent rating by the ASPA! We’re so thankful to Briley and his contribution to documenting CAC history this year.
