Immediately after the closing of the North Little Rock Times, Callie and I (Jaison) felt the need to continue covering Central Arkansas athletic events. The Times officially closed their doors in August of 2018. The NLR Times, Sherwood Voice, Maumelle Monitor, and Jacksonville Patriot were consolidated into one circulation a little over a year before Gatehouse media shut the door, altogether, on the local newspaper. Rock Town Sports hopes to carry on the same sports coverage of the NLR Times with the addition of several other Central Arkansas Schools. A huge thank you to Jeremy Peppas and Mark Buffalo for trusting an amateur photographer, straight out of college, get his start in the sporting world six years ago. Jaison
