We have agreed to host the 2026 candidate forum for North Smithfield Town Council. Bryan Murray has stepped up to moderate, and is soliciting questions directly from the community!

We will be using a platform that will allow us to stream live to YouTube and Facebook at the same time, and an unedited audio recording will be posted to our rss feed for podcast listeners.

We don't pay a ton of attention to our analytics - mostly we look once a month and say "ooh number go up!" But every once in a while we (usually Elizabeth) spend a little more time gauging what's working and what's not, and here's what she's learned.

Our audience remains overwhelmingly women, and overwhelmingly between the ages of 28 and 59. Every month, our retention rate (the number of people who listen to an episode and then come back to listen again) and our completion rate (the percentage of an episode that is finished) are increasing.

We hoped that if we built a place for residents like us - busy women with a to-do list that's way too long - that the audience would come. Because we know that women WANT to be informed. They care about their town and what happens here.

We are eternally grateful that they are choosing to spend their time with us.
